With a heavy sigh you sit down. Your mission partner takes a seat beside you. She sighs as well. You watch as Lady Jiraiya orders a drink and pulls off her forehead protector. The metal clangs against the wood of the bar. Next she began to pull on her hair tie, freeing her long wild hair. By her demeanour you can tell she's frustrated. Or at least disappointed.

"I'm sorry, m'lady." You break the tense quiet.

You nod. She slides over a cup and invited you to help yourself to the bottle she ordered. You thank her and fill the cup. Out of politeness you fill hers as well.

"So what now?" You ask.

"I'd say it's pretty obvious. Let's take a load off. Relax. Don't think about the mission."

You crack a smile. It's the first time you've smiled since the end of the mission. It's quite the high honour to be paired up with a Sannin. And you got paired up with the most wild of the three. Lady Jiraiya is a great fighter and pretty good at leading. You followed her every command but the mission ended up being a total bust. It was a hard call but she ended up pulling out in order to save the people involved. Which ended in the mission being a complete failure. It also meant having a few new wounds. Nothing life threatening but enough to be sore.

Jiraiya continued to scratch at her scalp as she soothes the tension in her head. You watch her in silence. She's.... very pretty. For her age she's gorgeous. She's the type to know it too. Her face is just hardly showing her age, just some fine lines and crows feet. She hardly wears makeup other than a little bit of tinted balm. Not that she needs anything to turn heads. She doesn't take much part in the community but her just existing and being respected by so many people had made her a big deal. People want to be her.
