Chapter 03: Unexpected Activity

Erine's Point of View

It was really hot, I can feel summer already. By the way, I'm at the University's garden. It's really refreshing here kahit na sobrang init. Ang sarap sa mata kase puro green ang mga nakikita ko, there are different kinds of flowers and roses. I'm just by myself, lahat kasi ng mga new friends ko dito is may kanya kanyang klase pa ngayon. This garden is really lovely that's why I'm wondering bakit halos walang pumupunta dito. Most of the students here prefer going to the cafeteria and field instead here. But mas okay yun para mas maging peaceful itong lugar. I think I found a new place where I can go even without my friends.

Well I bet you all know me right? But to be sure I was named Erine Yue by my parents, Yue is not my second name, it's my surname. I'm 19 years old, a fourth year architecture student and an exchange student from Stanford University. To be honest di ko alam kung sino yung ka-exchange ko and I know that some of you are wondering why do I have to exchange University even if last quarter na, well hindi ko rin alam ang real reason kung bakit but as what my parents said before dahil daw may bago silang gagawing business and dito lang ang pinakamagandang location para itayo iyon. Well both of my parents are into business. Gusto nga nila na maging katulad nila ako but I refuse kase hindi ko talaga gusto yun.

I love to draw. I love to make someone's dream house and also my own dream house too. That's my passion and that's what makes me happy. I want to see someone who is really happy and satified because of what I've done to them. Naiisip ko pa lang na after ko maka-graduate ng college ay hahanap agad ako ng mga customers ko then I—

"Exuse me students." my thoughts were interrupted by someone and I guess it's the Principal speaking in every intercom in each corner of the University.

"Kindly go to the quadrangle now. To all the professor's that are having their lessons right now dismiss all of the students now I have something to say, thank you" Tinatamad akong pumunta sa quadrangle eh, pwede naman sigurong di na pumunta no? Ang ganda ganda ng pwesto ko dito so siguro naman di yun gaanong kaimportante kay—

"All I have to say is IMPORTANT." Sabi ko nga IMPORTANT eh. "I'll be giving all of you 5 minutes so get your ass moving!" Okay? I don't know kung matatakot ba ako o matatawa dun sa sinabi mung Principal, seriously? ass talaga?

Okay dahil sabi nga ay IMPORTANT daw yung sasabihin then I should get my ass moving talaga. I lazily got up kung saan ako nakaupo kanina well tamad na tamad talaga ako. Good thing lahat ng books and stuffs ko nasa locker na kaya wala na akong dadalhin.

I was about to leave but I suddenly heard something, hmm somewhat a moan? Am I hallucinating? Cause why would someone moan in a garden like this? So gross! I was about to ignore them but dahil nga curious ako, I search where the noise came from.. and nakarating ako sa isa sa mga puno dito sa garden.

"Stop it babe, nakikiliti ako!" rinig kong malanding sabi ng isang babae.

"No babe" sagot naman ng isang pamilyar na boses ng lalake.

Napatakip ako ng mga mata ko when I saw Ken, yeah that Kenneth Kim playboy making out with some bitch, eew so gross! Well actually, they are not really 'making out' sorry for that word maybe I can say that they are just flirting kase yung mukha ni Ken nasa neck nung girl.

My gorgeously precious eyes should not see stuffs like this! Too much landian tho. I can't take this anymore, I can feel like I was about to puke anytime. So yeah kaya naman aalis na lang ako. I don't want to see anything like that again!

"Hey" Gosh nakakadiri talaga! Una pa lang talaga hindi na maganda ang tingin ko dito sa lalaking to eh! Sabi na tama yung mga naririnig ko sa iba. I'm sure bukas iba na naman ang kalandian ng lalaking yan!
