You nodded as you both left. However, what you didn't know was Shinobu was behind you both, since she already visited Kanae. See favoritism?
As you both got to Kanae, grave, you and Sanemi bowed down as you prayed, for her soul to rest in peace.

Sure, Shinobu said some horrible stuff about you that night, comparing you to Kanae and whatever else, but you didn't mind it. At a young age Shinobu did have a bad temper after all.
After praying, you both stood up and started walking.
Sanemi: Where to now?
Y/n: Well, we don't have any missions. And Kanae wouldn't ever want us to be sad, especially if it has something to do with her. So lets go spend the day out?~
Sanemi: Whatever works I guess.
You smiled.
Sanemi then embraced you in a hug. He then proceeded to tell you that he heard everything that Shinobu had said to you that night. That just made today a bit more hard.
