As the bright light somewhat dimmed, you looked around and saw you were back at the garden, in the exact place you started at. 

"So you weren't lying?" you heard Yoriichi mumble, as you looked at him. 

"Come on!" you exclaimed, grabbing his hand as you ran to where you left the fight. 

As you got to where you left the battle, your eyes widened. All the hashiras were lying on the floor, pools of blood beneath them. 

Your gritted your teeth and walked forward towards Muzan as you drew your sword. 

"Third form: Protruding Bud!!" you exclaimed as you aimed your sword to slice Muzan's neck off. 

"Ah, your back I see," Muzan replied with an evil grin as he blocked your attack with his claws. 

"Such a shame you'll go down like this!" Muzan yelled as a claw came charging straight at you.

You tried to escape but his claws grabbed you and held you in place not being able to move. Just as his claws were inches away from stabbing you, you saw a bright red light appear from behind you and moments later, all of Muzan's claws turned to ash and disintegrated. 

You immediately took a few steps back as you saw Muzan had fell to the ground staring speechless, at the sight upon him. 

"H-How is this possible! Y-you're supposed to be dead!" Muzan stuttered, his face turning pale. 

That's when reality struck Muzan. 

"You! You used the power of the door! This is your doing!  I'll get my revenge! I'll take your sister with me!" Muzan smiled like a physco as one of his claws lightning speed ascended to Shinobu.

Your eyes widened as you dashed in that direction. You were determined to make it, you were going to protect your little sister and you did. 

The claw pierced through your heart as blood splattered all over the ground. Pain overwhelmed your body as the claw turned to ash and faded away, but it was too late the damage had already been done. 

You fell to the ground as you clutched your chest, your breathing starting to become uneven. 

"Young L/n, you were the next wielder of the key...Are you going to be alright-" 

Yoriichi was cut off by a high pitched scream. Shinobu. 

"Y/n!!!! No, No, NO!! Please please be alright!" Shinobu yelled, tears filling her eyes. 

Before you replied, you glanced and saw that Muzan was fading away, his eyes still wide and his skin paler than ever. 

At Shinobu's loud outburst, all the hashiras had risen to see what was happening and when they realized, they rushed over. 

"Your all okay..thank goodness," you quietly say, as you coughed blood. 

All the hashira's eyes were watering as they looked at you, unsure of what to say. 

"When the key is pulled out from the door, the holder dies" Yoriichi broke the silence as everyone turned to him with wide eyes. 

"The door was some time travel portal which took her to me." Yoriichi said before they could ask. 

"Are you ready for me to pull the key-" 

"No! Y-you can't pull the key out! S-she'll die!" Shinobu screamed, tears filling her eyes. 

"But she decided she would when she said she'd use the power of the door," Yoriichi added, as Shinobu's eyes softened.

"Y-yes but-" 

"It's alright. He's right," you added, with a light smile, more blood pouring out of your wounds.

"Y/n-"

"I'm going to pull it out, I can't see young Y/n suffer anymore. I'll also fade away," Yoriichi added.  

No one moved from their spots as Yoriichi slowly walked away. 

"Y/n! P-please don't leave us..Without you I don't know what I'll do...I lov-"

"Y/n!!!" you heard Kanao scream as she rushed over, cutting Rengoku off.

As Kanao reached your side, she broke down into tears, her hands covering her mouth. No words were able to come out. She was speechless. 

"Kanao, its alright.." you quietly say.

You slowly stood up, but nearly fell back, but Shinobu acted quickly. She immediately sat behind you, supporting you from behind, as you head rested on her shoulders. 

Just then, Yoriichi spoke up. 

"Exchange any last words now, please." Yoriichi said. 

Before anyone spoke up, you decided to go first. 

"I love you all so very much....I'm sorry things had to end this way..I wish you all the best lives..Thanks for everything.." you say. 

"Y/n! We love you too! Please don't leave us!" Mitsuri screamed, tears pouring down her eyes. 

"Please Y/n don't leave us!" Shinobu cried, taking one of your hands. 

"Please Y/n..." Kanao added, grabbing your other hand and placing it to her chest. 

"Hmmm....I-I love you all too," you say looking especially at Rengoku, who seemed to get the signal. 

His mouth slightly hung as he came a bit forward. 

With those final words, your grip loosened as a smile was formed on your face. As you hand lifelessly fell from Shinobu and Kanao's they both screamed. The grief in their voices, broke everyone into never ending tears as they starting sobbing. 

Yoriichi's eyes softened, as he faded away, thanking you to do what he wasn't able to as the key was passed down to you. 

"I love you Y/n..." Rengoku mumbled through tears. 

Shinobu clutched your blood stained haori as she looked at your face, you eyes closed forever, as she begged for this all to be a dream. 

"Thank you..Thank you very much Y/n, I love you so much, I'm sorry for every argument or anything hurtful I ever said...I take it all back...I love you so very much..." Shinobu quietly said, as more tears poured down her already teary face.

At first I was just listening to the song happier while writing this chapter, then I realized how perfectly this song lined up with this story, so I decided to add it.

I was actually so sad writing this chapter, and Shinobu's reaction hurt the most...Kanao after of course and Rengoku last.
