chapter 3.

  Just in time too james and rufio both come inside the shack in silence.  "Why are you guys so quiets what happened" Devin stops me from going further.  "Dont..y/n. Just dont start asking questions" rufio sighs taking a seat on the bench "Devin dont worry about it we ran into one of the mermaids and got the news Felix is going to be coming back for y/n...its going to be a matter of time of what that happens but for the time being.....she needs to be hidden from pan".  He points towards me giving off the solemn look "shit...im running out of time he came here twice in a matter of seconds-" "oh Devin! Do you have a chance to get some fresh water?".  James smacks his hands on the small wooden table "why do i need to get the water?" James looks st me squinting his eyes for split second "because she needs a bath" "hey!" I lunge across the table going after him as he laughs while running. 

  "Get back here you jerk!!" I sprint after him as he takes off out the window taunting me playfully by smacking his right butt cheek.  Devin and rufio both hold me back from flying out the window after him.  "He's playing a joke on you y/n chill" rufio picks me up off the ground backing away form the window as james climbs back inside.  He laughs uncontrollably holding his gut
Grabbing a hardish pillow nearby i threw it at James face as he fell making an "oomf" noise.



  Devin snorts a tiny bit stiffling his laugh "theres more where that came ye lil red devil!" I grit my teeth.  Rufio places me on the wall letting the shirt stay on the hook or antler allowing my body to hang for a bit.  Thrashing wildly he stands back chuckling with the others Devin stops laughing walking over to let me down.  "Thank you but anyways what the fick!!?! I dont stink you butt the only one here who definitely needs one is you ya nasty buttsmeller".  They laugh again until there was a knock again "hide now" the mood suddenly changes drastically as i climb into a hiding spot off the floor watching from a far as Peter opens the door "why are you guys all here weren't you supposed to be helping out training or did you forget?" He raises an eyebrow.  "We were just about t-" "you were about to what? Fool off" "not exactly fool off we were talking about something important" "oh and what's that...hmm?" He steps closer crossing his arms. 

  "Uhh..we were..uh Uhh talking about the food shortage" "funny...despite the fact that i have been getting the food from the world without magic myself so tell me this....why are you three together in this shack away from camp there must be a reason because dear old Devin here has been staying here for some odd reason" peter narrows his eyes at him.  He walks past him searching for me looking in places like the crates the bed closet anything.  "Rats ass thought that she was here still coulda sworn she was" he massages his chin gently.  "devin, James and rufio your coming with me to go hunt" all three exchange looks to each other for a split second.  I stay hidden from peters view "and dont think im letting you guys off the hook here shes somewhere on this island i know it for fact because i have something of hers.." What does he mean something of mine?.  There was a heavy wave of nausea coming through as i cup my mouth with both hands fughting back the vomit.  Devin looks up again for a bit with worry "devin what are you looking at?" Peter comes up to him raising a brow.  "Huh?" "Love i know your here stop hiding from me and we can talk things out or ill just make you feel worse than you already are" he chirps out. 

  'Over my dead body' the floor boards creek under his weight.  A spec of brown chestnut hair starts popping upwards I slid back further.

The sun was setting Devin and the others havent returned.  Back from wherever they went, "i miss home...i feel like nobody is coming for me..." I mumble to myself curling up in a ball.   Stepping outside the shack i start walking by myself to the beach taking a seat on a nearby rock watching as the waves crashed ok the shore.  The sand was glowing a warm orangish red color from the sun looking down at the ground i stand up letting the sand run between my toes.  Walking forward to the water I start to go in going deeper running my fingers through the ripples of the surface stopping at the chest level.
