chapter 38.

  Weeks pass by i couldnt be in the same town with Peter on the loose donna and Patrick were helping me finish packing up to move to California.  The engine starts up as i pull out of the driveway I was going to miss this place it seemed very relaxing that was until the children went missing. 

  Trees pass by the vehicle i look at my old job site to see the old man and his grandchildren now entering.  "Its time to start a new life phoenix just you, me, and aunt Donna" the baby moves inside.  Knowing that this was the best option not only it was for the safety of my unborn child.  Looking up ahead I spot the town sign "now leaving t/n (town name)" taking in a few breaths I pass it without any trouble.  That was until i seen him standing in the road stepping on the break the vehicle comes to a stop.  He smirks "you know it would be rude of you to not say your goodbyes my love" gritting my teeth together i unbuckled the seat belt ,opened the door And stepped out walking up to Peter. 

  "What do you want you scum!" I shout at him he just stood there for what seemed to be along time.  "You...and our child..you cant leave" he responded back.  "Like hell i will im leaving and i dont want you near our child Peter" turning sharply on my heel I start walking back to the vehicle he quickly wasted no time in grabbing my arm.  "Let. Go...now" "why are you leaving am i that much of a monster?" "Yes you are peter now let me go!" I slap him in the chest.  He hums slightly thinking a bit to himself "why wont you come back with me love?" He asks I glare at him.   "Because your nothing but a devil in sheep's clothing" Peter stops smiling and becomes more serious "I was left in the darkness and so the darkness i became.." He says calmly. 

  I rip my arm out of his hold as he stands there in bewilderment.  Getting into the car I put it into drive again and go around peter who stands there with a concerned look covered in pain and anger.  He shouts "your making a big mistake love this is our child and im not letting you get away- hey!!!" He starts running before falling onto the pavement.  Turning up the volume to radio I watch his figure fly up into the sky following.

Peter was nowhere in sight...i pull into a rest area on the highway.  Putting the car into park I lay my seat back and start thinking to myself.  It was so weird how he acted like that..but why.  My e/c orbs close letting the sleep take over.

'Dream'~

  Darkness everywhere.

"Mom.."

Who's voice is that?
"Mom its me...!" Where is it coming from. 

Turning around to see a glowing figure only to be a child.  "Mom..please come to me" they softly spoke.  My feet had a mind of their own as they walk up to the figure before me.  The child reaches their hand out i gently grab it.  They start leading me to a place but where.

"This way mom!! We need to hurry were going to be late" for what exactly the child just kept pulling.  Soon light pours in as we step out of the darkness into what seems to be a feild.  Wait this is no ordinary feild its the same feild on Neverland!!!.  "We cant be here !!! Common we have to leave!!!" I try my best to pull the child with me but they didnt budge.  "Mom? Whats wrong?" They ask in curiosity.  "We cant be here its a nightmare!!!!" Laughter echoes around the tall grass as if it were going in circles. 

  Then he submerged in view there stood Peter holding his hand out to me and the child.  "No!!!! I dont want to be here let go!!!" His magic pulls my body forward until it floated above the ground.  Tears prick my eyes as I stare into his green eyes that stared back into mine.  "Forever my love...." He suddenly speaks.

'End of dream'~

  Bolting up from my seat I breathe heavily.  "What the fuck was that!?!?!" Sitting up and clenching my chest the baby inside seemed to have moved again.  Tapping on the glass catches my attention turning to the source stood peter smiling softly.  "Wake up sunshine! it's about time you woken up" he looks down at the car door handle before looking back up smirking.  Panicking I quickly go to lock it only to have the seatbelt stop me he opens it with ease.  Peter then leans in having both palms next to my head.
