I finished up quickly and changed and walked out. He was sitting on a chair in the corner of the room reading. Not even bothering to glance up. "Thank you" I repeated to him. Not even a pause. I rolled my eyes and went back to my stuff. The teachers had told us they needed a day to prepare so we could roam the hotel. I grabbed a bathing suit and my phone, deciding to ring my friends. They picked up excitedly. "How'd it go with Brockkkkk!!!!" Amanda sang out. "Guys we're on Facetime '' I said quickly. I turned to Brock and although he hadn't lifted his head I could see him smiling. Ugh, so cocky.
We talked for a little longer and met up at the pool. I was relieved for a break from Brock. I left out most of the details of our encounters, fearing my friends would go ballistic over it. They practically swooned when he walked over to them to flirt. Could he get any more annoying? My god. "Chandler! Join me in the pool" Daisy yelled from across the walkway. "Coming" I called back. I took off my top and shorts to reveal a bikini. I turned to grab my sunscreen and saw a few boys looking me up and down. My stomach got butterflies when I saw one of them was Jack. I smiled to myself then Brock came into my line of sight staring straight at me. He looked me up and down then shook his head and turned away. It was strange seeing him act like that. He normally always had a rebuttal or something.
