That's weird, why was he whispering to Brock, and what was that even about. Brock shot another death stare towards Jack. And a look of sympathy, towards me? I dismissed his weird behavior and went back to talking to Jack. The guide of the boat began starting his whole monologue and talking about the history of Venice and the importance of all the buildings. "... The city has been described as one of Europe's most romantic cities and has been ranked as one of the most beautiful cities in the world more than once..." His voice was soon drained out as my mind began wondering. I wasn't really thinking of something, just spacing out. A soft nudge drew me out and my head turned towards Jack. Those same sweet eyes looked back at me and his eyes flicked to the side, signaling towards the side of the boat. While my brain was still thinking about what he meant he had gotten up from his seat and was standing dangerously close to the edge of the boat. The sides of it were thankfully there but he stepped onto it, balancing on the curved edge. Our teacher sprung into action and began barking at him which only caused him to roll his eyes in boredom. He leaned to the side and toppled over into the water. It splashed onto me as everyone erupted into a wave of cheers and I smiled, despite being soaked. Jack climbed out of the water and his shirt stuck to him, outlining his abs. I bit my lip and averted my eyes. Getting a deserving nudge from his wet hand. But suddenly everyone was quiet, Mr. Williams looked raging mad almost as if he were going to grab Jack by his collar and throw him off the boat himself. But to everyone's shock Jack stepped up to him, getting closer and stared down at him without saying a word. The once fuming teacher suddenly gave a knowing look and turned away. "Detention for a month" he said with the last sliver of confidence before he marched back to the end of the boat. As Jack took his seat again he got quite a few pats on the back from his friends and googly eyes from the girls not even attempting to hide their stares at his body.
