Previously:

Alice took my hand and a deep breath, before walking towards the opening, and climbing through. We dodge the swinging pendulum.

"Hatter's counting on you's," Mally whispered into the echoing clock.

"We all are," Chess told us as the door closed.

There's no turning back now.

----🖤----

Alice and I walked further into the darkness, then came across a tall tower surrounded by dark clouds.

Walking a bit further we realised we have to cross a giant clock; hands moving and everything.

"And I thought being chased by the Bandersnatch was scary," I commented, looking down.

"Hey, everything's going to be okay. We can do it," Alice told me. "See that hand approaching?" She asked and I nodded. "We're going to make a jump for it."

"A jump for it?" I questioned shocked.

"Yes, on three. Ready? One. Two. Three," Alice yelled jumping, I jumped with her.

The hand was a bit slippery and Alice slipped, holding onto the edge for dear life. I was on my hands and knees trying not to slip off.

"Alice, that hand there. Drop down to it, I'll follow," I tell her pointing to the upcoming still hand.

She lets go at the right time and I also jump, we both land on the still hand and stand up as it all of a sudden moved for a second, then stops; while it's stopped, Alice and I make a run for it making our way to the centre on the clock where the castle is.

Once we're there, we run up some stoned stairs to come across a golden gate; unlocked.

We open the gate and head on inside.

"Hello, anybody here?" Alice asks, no answer just her echo.

We continue to walk further inside the dark castle.

We hear a little noise but don't see anything so we continued, until the noises kept going.

We look at a corner and see something small and shiny quickly hide.

"Hello," brave Alice asks as she approached the corner, peeking behind it.

Then something came running out; tick tick tick tick, it said as it was running away.

Whatever it was there must be more of them.

Alice and I follow the tiny thing to some stairs, but we don't go up them as we saw a shadow approaching. We gasp and hide behind a corner, peeking through to see a man; time?

He all of sudden fell over, got back up quickly. "Stupid me shaped corridor," he told himself, annoyed.

Then there was a bell.

"Will this day, never end?" He asked himself, again annoyed.

He walked passed Alice and I not realising our presence.
