Chapter Twelve: Date With Hatter.

Previously:

"Alice, here," I say, handing her the book she gave me once back to her. "I've written in it, and there are still a few pages left, for you."

She sighs. "Thank you," she lets out a small sob then turned to Tarrant. "Goodbye Hatter," she told him then turned to me. "See you later, Anna," she whispered.

And once again, Alice has gone back up to Upperland.

"Anna, wear that dress with your hair out," Mally instructs. She insisted on helping me get ready for my 'date' with Hatter; which I'm quite nervous for.

"Okay, okay. But what about accessories?" I questioned causing Mally to gasp dramatically.

"Oh, you must have that necklace and no hat," she pointed to the necklace Alice had brought me and she also said 'hat' in a way that made me think, 'no hats on a date with the Hatter... strange' I was quite looking forward to wearing a hat but I guess no hat it is.

"Why no hat?" I questioned curiously.

Mally covers her mouth. "Umm, because hats don't look good on you," she boldly told me, causing me to laugh then frown.

"Don't just stand there, get dressed," she exclaimed trying to shove me in the bathroom.

"Alright, Mally, calm down I think you're more nervous and exited than I am at this point," I laugh.

"It's not funny, Hatters going to be here-

She trailed off checking the clock, and lets out a gasp.

"32 minutes."

"That's oddly specific," I pointed out, closing the bathroom door.

I've changed into the dress that Mally has chosen out for me, and now I'm looking at my reflection; feeling the most beautiful I have ever felt, my hair hanging down in beach waves.
