CHAPTER 18
I smelled a male perfume and felt compelled to hug it close to my body; I felt safe so I snuggled my head into its chest and heard a soft laugh that made me smile. I had slid into Alessander's chest.
"Do you still want to sleep?" he asks, his voice gentle as he strokes my hair.
"I'm not sure. Do you have anything planned for today?" I inquire, my eyes still closed.
"Well, I was planning on taking you to your ob-gyne," he says, putting his hands in my hair and hugging me.
"After our action last night, I was concerned about the baby's condition," he teases me.
"That's a wonderful idea," I mumbled as I slapped his arms and buried my red check.
He laughed, but in a sultry and seductive tone. I stood up and stared at him, puzzled, and felt compelled to respond.
"I'll get my belongings," I say as I exit the room.
I went to the rear balcony and stretched out and looked around; it was the first time I had gone to the back of this cabin and was pleasantly surprised to find a man-made lake. My jaw is wide open as I see a greenish lake with reflections of trees and birds all around it. It's wonderful and refreshing.
"Wow," I say quietly.
"Isn't that lovely?" Alessander asked as he approached my back.
"Yes, it is," I agreed, nodding my head frequently.
"I made some breakfast. Let's eat," he say as I turn around to go inside, but before I could go inside, he kissed me and walked away.
We cleaned the cabin and grabbed our belongings before beginning the ride back to the city. He teases and mocks me in the car, and he enjoys seeing me so shy, so I need to confront this bully to put an end to it. I pretended to be pissed, and I was, so glared him with a straight expression, and he stopped his mouth and continued driving, which made the inner me smile. We arrived to the bachelor community and noticed his mother going back and forth outside his house, appearing distressed.
He pulls up in his car and walks over to Oli.
"Hey mum," he said, and I smiled back.
She simply nodded and walked towards me, avoiding my gaze.
"Oh, my dear Achie, are you okay?" she inquired, her gaze sweeping over my body as she forced me to turn around.
I looked at Alessander, who seemed as perplexed as I was.
"What's up, Oli?" I'm concerned and creeped out by her behavior.
"I heard the news and I-I am so sorry that I am not there when you needed the most," she sobbed as she hugged me.
I stroked my hand down her back and tried to comfort her, "I understand Oli. It's fine," I said, but she continued to cry.
"No, no, I'm so sorry I should be there," she says, "I promise your mother."
She walked backwards, so I saw her face with runny mascara. I wiped her tears and shook Alessander's shoulder, asking for a handkerchief, but instead he handed me my panty, which he had taken from me the night before. My eyes widened and glared at him, and he quickly put it back in his pocket and grabbed something from his other pocket, handing me a handkerchief.
"How about we talk it over inside?" I said calmly as I guided her inside the home, wiping her mascara from his face.
We entered the house and took her position in the chair, while Alessander went to the kitchen to get some water to attempt to soothe her down.
