CHAPTER 15

I didn't get any sleep the night before and didn't have the energy to leave my room. I was ready to walk to the kitchen when I heard a conversation in the living room and heard footsteps approaching my room. I dashed to my bed and pretended to read some books.

"Loise!" exclaimed Stacey.

What's up, Stacey?! She's still there, and my brother is in her back, as I rub my eyes.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask as I settle into my seat.

"Come out side," James urged sternly, "Prosecutor Cha stated you haven't eaten breakfast yet."

They exited the building, and I followed them. I went looking for Alessander and found him cooking in the kitchen!
"What's going on?" I asked.

"Our wedding is tomorrow, and we didn't see you after you got out," Stacey replied, and I simply nodded, despite my confusion.

"How did you get to know Andy's address?"

"Andy, huh, tsk," Jame hissed.

"Are y'all aware that this is incredibly awkward?!?" I snarl at them since they all remain silent.

"Alessander is my cousin," Stacey replied as she ran her hands through her hair.

"And you two know?" I ask, my voice irritated.

"WE FIGURED IT OUT," James said, his words impenetrable.

He crosses his arms and asks, "Wanna explain?"

"I didn't want to tell you right away since you're getting married in a few days and I didn't want to be a burden again; you need to focus on your upcoming wedding," I say softly, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"I've been a pain in the neck for you since our parents died, and I'm the reason your wedding was postponed," I said him as he hugged me.

"Shh, that's fine. I'm pleased you know you look like a jerk," he laughed, and I smacked his chest and backed away, then looked at his face and hugged him again, only to be yanked away from him by someone.

"Hey," I say as I squint at Alessander.

"We're going to spend the entire day with you!" Stacey said with excitement.

"Why are you doing this?" I inquire, perplexed.

He sounded nasty when he said, "Because you're my sister and Prosecutor Cha is Stacey's cousin."

"No need to be formal, adress him Alex," Stacey said as she pushed him into her shoulder.

"Whatever," he said, rolling his eyes and reaching out to touch my stomach.

"Hey," Alessander says, smacking his hand, but when I look at him, he just looks down.

I mocked them, "Children, stop that," and they just rolled their eyes.

"Go change," Stacey replied, perplexing me.

"Why would I?" you might wonder.

Alessander's second demotion: "Yeah, why would she?"

"Because we're going to the mall," she exclaimed, her face beaming.

I gaze at Alessander, and Stacey notices, "Please, this is the only time I can spend with Louise since she went out, and you know after the wedding it's my honeymoon, and we won't be here for a month, so Louise is all yours," he says, looking away and scratching his nape.

"All right, bring her back before the sun sets," he remarked before heading into the kitchen.

James rolled his eyes and muttered, "What is he? Parents of every Disney princess?"

"I heard that!" exclaimed Alessander.

James cried back, "Obviously because you have huge ears!"

I rushed to my room to change and grabbed a matching sweater and jogging trousers before heading outside and saw Stacey seated between James and Alessander.

"What are you wearing?" Stacey exclaimed, standing up and pushing me back into my room.

I'm bored as she chooses a dark pink trouser, a matching blazer, and a white heart shape croptop.

I crossed my arms and said, "We're going shopping, not business."

"That's the one lovely material among your work clothes," she says as she walks out the door, and I quickly change.

I walk outside and straight to the house's main entrance, not wanting to hear anything from the three of them.Like James, Stacey stood up and pursued me, but he was stopped by Stacey.

"You stay here and make friends," she continued, as if she were speaking to a child of five.

James squints at her, and she squints back.

Alessander murmurs, "Oh, I think some weddings are going to be canceled."

"Chill," they said with a scowl at Alessander.

"Let's go Ace," I said as I turned around and walked outdoors.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While walking around the mall, I noticed some paparazzi photographing me and Stacey. Stacey is well-known as a model and actress, and she was joined by an ex-convict, so it was quite the spectacle. I didn't enjoy shopping because it's not my pleasure. I only got a few cloths, an acrylic paint, and some brushes for painting because I'm planning to paint again since I'm always inside Alessanders' house. We went to a restaurant where everyone was watching us.
Stacey rubbed my hands and urged pleasantly, "Don't get affected by them," while she glared at them.
It made me grin, and she knows how much it affected me because I'm a people pleaser. I was raised relying on my parents' decisions, and whenever I make a decision, I always ask their opinion, even if I truly enjoy it; but, if they don't want it or like it, I'll simply forget about it and follow them. The single decision I made that made me happy was to choose my work after they died; even though I asked my brother for his advice on the job I'd acquire, he simply let me chose, which made me a lucky person.
"Thank you," I said with a smile.
We went home after eating in the restaurant, but not to Alessander's house, but to James' house, because some photographers had followed us, and we decided to put me up in James' house to avoid any problems that would hinder Alessander's profession.
I called Alessander and informed him that I would be staying at James' residence.
"Achie, where are you?!!" he yelled angrily.
"When we got home, some paparazzi followed us, and it'll be more safer if I stay at James' house," I explain.
"How did you know it's me? I just asked for your number," I exclaim, my brow wrinkled despite the fact that he won't see it.
He gulped, "I just figured it out." I keep a close eye on him.
"Oh, I see," I replied, completely unconvinced by him.
In a cool tone, I said, "I'll see you tomorrow."
"How about your milk?" he queried, his tone of care making me smile.
"I'll ask James to get me one, bye," I said as I hung up the phone.
I went inside and noticed James and Stacey's close friends talking and laughing around the pool, so I joined them.
"Ow, here she is," Stacey announced, perplexing me.
"What did I overlook?"
"Thunder is single," Stacey said, and the two of them laughed.
Oh my god, she's inebriated; I went over to her and grabbed her glass.
"You should stop drinking since tomorrow is your wedding, and you don't want to have a hangover tomorrow, do you?" I asked, and she pouted and shook her head.
I looked to James, intending to tell him to put Stacey to bed, but he was out. When we returned home, James and his friend had already begun to drink. I sigh and hit my temples, because these two are a pain in the neck.
Thunder stood up and said, "I'll help you put them in bed."
I wrapped Stacey's hand around my neck and my hand around her waist; she isn't heavy because she is a model, and all I was doing was assisting her in walking. Thunder carries James around like a sack of rice.We went outside after putting them in their beds.
"Thank you for your assistance," I said with a smile.
"Don't worry. I heard about you imprisoning and Jeremy," he looked down, is he shy?
"Ow yeah," I responded quickly. I'm not going to talk about Jeremy.
We were both silent, so I decided to speak up, but we spoke in sync and both laughed.
I said, "You first."
"Do you want to go on a date with me?" he asks, scratching his nape, which reminds me of Alessander's. He also scratches his neck at home.
Someone shoved him before I could respond, and I was going to confront him when I noticed Alessander. My pupils dilated.
"What's your problem?" I asked, puzzled, as I stared at Thunder.
He glares at Alessander and says, "Yeah."
I wanted to confront him, so I grabbed his hands and we walked inside my room and locked it. I turned to face him, and just as I was ready to reprimand him, he leaned in close and kissed me passionately, and I deepened it, and he drew away from our lips.
"I brought your milk and vitamins," he says, scratching his nape, his checks reddening.
I smirk, but he opens the door and leaves me inside the room before I can say anything.
