CHAPTER 16

Today is my brother's wedding day, and he and his fiancée will tie the knot. Stacey dragged me along because she wanted me to stay by her side as she prepared for the wedding, and of course, I'd be getting ready as well. My jaw dropped when I saw the dress she handed me. I'm not sure if it still fits me because I have a baby bump, even though it's not a big one, but I doubt the waist part will, Stacey saw my expression.

She grinned broadly and said, "Don't worry, I made an adjustment."

"Are you okay?"  she inquire, noting that she only moves a few paces.

"Well, it's not a huge job; the only thing they sew is the waist," I shrug, and she just laughs.

I murmur, "What type of outfit is this," and she simply pushes me into the toilet to change.

I stepped inside and looked in the mirror, and yes, even with the baby bump, it does fit. My baby belly is apparent because it's fitting, it's because of the fricken design in this dress is a solid twisted design high slit maxi dress. When I walk outside, Stacey jumps with delight.

She exaggerated when she said, "You look wonderful."

I smirk at her and say, "Yeah right, stop it."

She laughed and said to the make-up artist, "Take care of her."

"No, no need," I answered, shaking my hands. "This is your wedding; you should be the one who dresses up."

"It's needed because you're up next," Stacey said.

The make-up artist took me to another room, where I saw a mirror with several lights, she began to apply powder, and other things. After the make-up artist finished, I noticed Stacey waiting on the couch, looking stunning in her wedding gown, and my jaw dropped wide.

"Woah, Ace, you look incredible," I exclaimed, tears in my eyes.

"Really?" she exclaims as she turns around.

"Shall we go now?" I inquire as I take her hand in mine.

"We shall," she say as we walk outside holding hands and smiling broadly.
