"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" I asked my sister after I pulled us in to privacy. This time I didn't make the same mistake as in making Nellie leave and my sister is better than my father so she wouldn't hurt Nellie.
She sat on the couch in my office, "can't a sister visit her brother?" I counted to ten before I opened my mouth, "you could have still warned me."
"Technically I did. You must be enamoured with the beautiful woman downstairs that you forgot it."
I wanted a heavy drink right now, "it wasn't definite when you told me." I stated. She just shrugged, "you know how I am, always following my gut." My hand tugged against my strands. "Fine, how long are you staying?"
She mockingly gasped, "you already want me gone, big brother?" Her grey eyes widen. She tried to look innocent but I could see through all of it. "Yes, I do."
A laugh left her, "I missed you, Vince." My eyes softened at that, "I have missed you too, Val." There is only two of us so we grew up really close. Everywhere I would go she would be following me but now that we are adults we have parted ways which makes us miss each other.
"But that's not why I am here." A mischievous grin formed on her face, "she must be the date you went with for the auction." I just shrugged at that.
"Now I need to get to know her...but what is your relationship with her."
"We are friends."
She raised a brow at that, "what I saw down there doesn't help your claim. You are more than friends anyone can see that."
An uncomfortable feeling came over me, we both didn't know where we stood with our feelings so it's unnerving that other people can see it.
"But that's not the point, does she know about Lily?" I tensed at that, "there is nothing to know about Lily."
A dry chuckle left her at that, "you are lying to yourself right now. It's going to hurt her if she finds it out later and especially if it's not from you."
"You won't be saying anything, sister." I warned.
She raised her hands at that, "it's not my place so I won't do that but let me give you an advice it's better to be truthful from the start." Her gaze turned serious at that.
How could I even start talking about Lily while we are building our friendship. I didn't want anything to ruin it but Valentina is right, I need to let the truth out.
"All right enough advice for the day, let me meet the lady who has you in your feelings." She waved her hands around before she left for downstairs. I stood in the office for a bit before I followed behind her. A lot of laughter greeted me when I came downstairs.
I didn't let my presence known I looked at the interaction between my sister and Nellie, I like what I am seeing. This house is actually feeling like a home and it's all because of Nellie.
Valentina caught my eyes before she waved me over, "come join us, brother."
•••
My sister has basically stolen Nellie, the whole evening they have been talking with each other nonstop. They first put a soap opera on but they kept talking through it that I barely could focus on it, I didn't know how they did it.She also keeps Nellie attention on her, Nellie only talks with her and when I try to but in the conversation I am immediately excluded.
So I think I lied when I said that I liked them being close if it's going to be like this then I can already signed my death.
"Don't tell me you are pouting since I stole your girlfriend." Valentina teased me the moment Nellie left for the toilet, "shouldn't you go to sleep so that the adults can have fun."
She furrowed her brows, "dude I am literally older than Nellie and I won't be going to bed yet." She sticks her tongue out. I glared at her.
"Maybe I should take Nellie to bed with me." She snorted at that, "and has she told you she wants to sleep?"
A smirk tugged on my lips, "who says we are going to sleep." Her facials turned flabbergasted, "Vincenzo! No way I don't want to know about that."
"I like Nellie." She suddenly said, I didn't say anything in response to that. "So I really don't want her hurt, Vince." She softly says.
"I won't hurt her."
She gave me a pointed look, "if you say so." She wanted to say something again but we both noticed the presence of Nellie, "you are back." My sister exclaimed. Her hand raised to tug Nellie to her side but I beat her to it.
"This round you win, brother." She rolled her eyes. I didn't even indulge her, my focus was now on Nellie. I softly bit her earlobes when my sister attention was back on the TV.
Nellie softly slapped my arms, "not in front of your sister." Honestly I didn't care at all since the PDA would make her go to bed—something that I have been waiting for—but I didn't want to make Nellie uncomfortable. I gave her a last bite before I stopped.
I moved my arms around her so that she laid against my chest. I softly caressed her while watching the show, my sister could probably stay up all night but I still wanted some time with Nellie.
"All right, Nellie and I are going to bed now. You can keep watching." She only waved her hand, she was fully immersed in the show. I grabbed Nellie's hand and dragged her to our room.
The moment we were inside I softly pushed her on the bed, "I have been waiting to get you all alone this whole evening." I gazed in to her eyes. The pattern of her breath changed at that.
"Do you want me to punish you, bellissima for leaving me all high and dry." My hands moved up her thigh. "No..." she said.
"Don't you think you need one anyways?" My fingers thrusted in to her core, a loud moan left her body. I inhaled her scent before I looked back at her.
"Sorry not sorry, bellissima but I won't be letting you sleep tonight."
