Bonus chapter

LITTLE COLORED HANDS plastered around the cream walls, it wasn't hard to have suspects in my mind. Only two mischievous–technically one but she always drags the other with her–kids could do this. While I couldn't see them I could hear their little giggles.

Their mother was calling out their names as the most beautiful woman stepped on the ground floor, the corners of my lips tilted in a smile.

"Bellissima." The familiar nickname brought a small smile on her face, "you're finally back." I tugged her closer to me.

"Of course, I will always come back to our home." She lowered her face as a bashful look came on her face.  I softly beckoned her to look at me once again. My intentions were to give her a soft peck but I couldn't stop myself from devouring her.

Everything about her was addicting.

Her lips. Her body. Her mind. Her passion for music.

I could go on and on about my amazing wife.

"EW!" A small voice pierced through our bubble. Nellie sighed as she parted her lips away from mine.

The culprit was hidden but I knew whose voice it was.

"Come out wherever you are."

The girls kept giggling but they still didn't appear, "after their masterwork on the wall they have made it their mission to hide from me." Nellie said. A tired look appeared on her face.

"Let me take it from here." I told her. They probably began their masterwork while Nellie was working. Her Opera House has become renowned but she didn't expect the paperwork to be this much. I always try to help whenever I can.

Luckily she has found someone trustworthy so she'll be taking it over for her so that Nellie can do what she actually wants to do, to sing.

Nellie gave me a peck before going back upstairs. It didn't take long for me to find the twins. I already knew where they were but I tried to prolong their happiness with the small game.

One hid under the couch, her big eyes greeted me, "there you are, Val." She giggled as she left her position, "good afternoon, papa." She greeted me in Italian. I greeted her back in our native language.

Valeria took most from her mother especially her love for arts but while hers didn't lay in the music aspect, our girl was obsessed with sculpting. She has already started a sculpting class and she's acing it.

She's also quite shy and always follows her sister even if they both know that they shouldn't be doing it.

"Where is your sister?"

"I can't say." She muttered, "I promised on the river styx." Maybe we shouldn't have read the Percy Jackson books to them.

"Alright, then it's best if you don't say anything then." I put her on the coach and went in search of her sister. That also didn't take long as she hid next to the bookcase. There was a small space that she could hide in.
