THIS NIGHT LEFT ME speechless. This just reminded me the love I have for opera, why I wanted to become a singer. I didn't even know that I needed the reminder but I still got one and I'm quite happy with it. This would forever stay with me.
"We're not done yet." Vincenzo tugged me backstage. The vibes is almost the same as the one back home, the chatter, the laughter, everything. But are we going backstage for what I'm thinking? I turned my head and looked at Vincenzo.
"Are we..." No I won't ask yet, I won't to wait till we are there.
We arrived at a place that was on the quiet side, it was different than the loudness of backstage. It was also a beautiful place that was surrounded by elegance.
"Mr. Armani." A feminine voice with an accent caught my attention, the woman coming our way pulled Vincenzo in a hug the moment she was in front of him. Cheon Seo Jin, I'm about to scream right now. I don't know how I'm containing my excitement at the moment.
She is so beautiful. Everything about her was sharp from her looks to her clothes. When you caught her attention there was simply no way, that you would be able to remove your eyes from her. She mumbled something to Vince, which I didn't catch, before she took a glimpse at me.
I froze. The moment her eyes met mine, I couldn't move. She was intense.
"You must be Nellie. Nice to meet you, I'm Cheon Seo Jin." She knows my name. She knows my name. The only thought fluttering in my head. I could scream from the top of my long right now. This is just perfect.
A renowned opera singer knows my name, I truly made it in life. I was still stared dazed at her.
Vincenzo's deep chuckle came closer to me, "you should say something, bellissima." He then puts his hand on my lower back, my attention was now divided between the woman in front of me and the heat emitting from Vince's hands. How was I supposed to focus now.
A few seconds passed by.
"I'm sorry." Blurts out of me. A smile forms on her face, "it's all right." She softly responds. "I'm just excited to meet you! You're amazing Miss Cheon Seo Jin." I start to gush.
"You can just call me Seo Jin, you're amazing too. I was there when Vincenzo opened his opera house, I see a bright future ahead of you." I could literally die in peace right now.
"Thank you so much!"
We talked some more but she had to leave to catch her flight to go back to her home country. After a night of a splendid performance, I hope that she gets the praise she deserves.
