Jimin sits on the couch as Jungkook talks to the party planner on the phone. "That sounds perfect. I didn't think the Arbeg would be delivered that fast. How's it looking for the wagyu?"
"Let me look for a shipping update, Mr. Jeon... Alright, it says 2 weeks. The escargot will be arriving on the same say. I recommend holding the party on the day after they arrive just to keep the ingredients fresh."
Jungkook smiles. "Sounds wonderful, Sonya. Whenever you have a list of the remaining costs, just shoot me a quick email and I'll wire you the money."
"Of course, Mr. Jeon. Have a wonderful day."
"You as well."
Jungkook ends the call and smiles. "Awesome. Our housewarming party is planned. Now for the guest list..."
"Babe, I don't mean to be rude, but can we stop talking about this party?"
Jungkook frowns. "Is it really bothering you that much?"
"That money could've gone to people that need it. For fucks sake, You spent more money on alcohol than I ever made when I was still working."
"... I really don't know if I'm ever going to be able to help you understand this. Yes, you used to live like that, but you don't anymore. This stuff is expected of me. It's normal. I know marriage is about compromise, but I have a very delicate image. I know it doesn't seem like it, but trying to save money while planning this party will look really bad."
"How? Why would budgeting look bad?"
"Some of the guests are going to be just as rich as us. If we try to buy cheaper food and alcohol, it'll come of as disrespectful."
Jimin shakes his head. "You're right. I don't understand this and I never will, but if it's really that important to you, I'll try to be okay with it."
Jungkook rubs his chin for a moment. "I want to find a way to make it up to you... How about... I match the total price of this party with a donation to a charity of your choice?"
Jimin grins. "Really?"
"Yeah. Also, in the future, I'll donate $1 million every month to whatever charities you want. I know it's still a lot of money to you—"
"Jungkook, i know you have more many than I can wrap my head around. I've always known that. I just feel like you use it on useless shit. Using the money to help people isn't wasting."
"So... is that a good compromise for you?"
"It's amazing." He gives Jungkook a kiss and relaxes against his shoulder. "We can work on the guest list if you want."
"I'm sure you want to invite some of your old friends, but they have to dress nice. If they don't have nice clothes, I'm fully down to buy them some."
"They have dresses and dress shirts."
"But... Are they from Old Navy?"
Jimin pauses. "Probably. Is that an issue?"
"They won't fit in with the people I'm inviting. We can all go on a shopping spree. I'll get them some nice stuff. Do you think they'd be okay with that or would it be insulting?"
"I think if we explain why, they wouldn't have an issue with it."
"Okay."

Jimin sits in the passenger seat of Jungkook's Rolls Royce texting his friends. "Alright. All of them are at the meet up spot, but Jen is going to be a few minutes late."
"That's alright. She—"
"They. They recently changed their pronouns."
"Oh, alright. They can meet up with us wherever. No problem."
"Ok. Their shift ends in about 15 minutes."
They drive in silence for a few minutes before Jimin giggles.
Jungkook glances over at him and smiles. "What?"
"Nothing. I just think it's funny that you're acting like a massive sugar daddy for my friends."
Jungkook shrugs. "You won't let me pamper you, so I had to do it with someone."
"At least it isn't me."
"I'm still gonna buy you something too. You should get something new for the party."
"Babe, I have plenty of clothes. Turn right at this stoplight."
Jungkook turns and chuckles. "I know you have plenty of clothes, but it'll be fun to have a new outfit."
"Fun for you."
"Can you just let me buy you something? You know gift giving is my love language."
Jimin rolls his eyes. "Fine. I'll get a new outfit."
"I already have one in mind. It'll go perfectly with the necklace and bracelet i just bought you."
Jimin slowly turns to looks at him. "You what? I thought it was a Birkin?"
"I got you all 3. Anyways, I'm thinking a baby blue button up with white slacks and white loafers. Gucci has a nice new Spring collection with all three. You'll look great."
"Do I need a tie?"
"No. Absolutely not. We're the hosts. It's our house. We can be a bit more relaxed than everyone else, so I'll wear a sport coat and a button up with a few buttons undone. You can have yours partially unbuttoned as well."
"This is all very complicated. I didn't know there were such strict rules for a housewarming party."
