Yes, Jimin worked at Saddle Ranch
-
Flashback: 5 years prior...
Jimin walks up to the hostess stand after closing the check from the last table he served. "Hey Jen. Do I have any new tables yet?"
"Yeah, I was just looking for you. I sat a table of 8 rich kids at 15."
Jimin sighs. "Rich kids never tip well. They're so entitled."
"Good luck."
Jimin walks towards table 15, mentally preparing himself on the way. Rich kids are not only bad tippers but also tend to be racist as well. Never a good combo. They always end up being a huge waste of time.
When the table comes into view, he scratches racism off of his list of worries due to the fact that one of the "kids" (none of them look a day under 23) is asian. Not only is he asian, he looks like he might be Korean as well.
They look up and make eye contact with Jimin. They grin slightly and look away. Jimin tries to subdue his blush before walking up to the table and introducing himself. "Thank you for dining at Saddle Ranch. My name is Jimin. I'll be your server for today. Can I get you guys started off with something to drink?"
Every time Jimin approaches the table from that point on, the Korean guy can't keep his eyes off of him. When it comes time to pay, they all decide to split the check. Jimin goes to runs their cards and hears someone clear their throat.
When he looks up, he sees that it's the Korean dude. "Hey."
Jimin blushes. "Oh, hi. Do you want your card back or something? Did you give me the wrong one?"
They chuckle. "No. There's no way you're single, but i thought it wouldn't hurt to ask for your number."
Jimin's blush deepens. "I'm single..."
They exchange numbers. "My name is Jungkook, by the way."
Jimin grins and puts his name on the contact. "I'll try to text you after my shift..."
