四 - Macaque

(This Story takes place in S1 E9)

Guilt.

It had been a hole week since you saw the demon last despite him saying he would be back, you and the Monkie king have being trying to track him down and you hadn't found a trace of him anywhere like he just vanished, this began to pissed you off he had basically ran off with your amulet to god knows where and knowing this it filled you with an unbelievable rage for the demon, the Monkie King had promised you he would get the amulet back to you save and sound, but the way things were going now it didn't seam that way. You had fallen asleep on your desk again you had been doing that very often lately it was getting concerning, you sighed and bashed your head on the table, god you were so sick of this shity schedule you've got going on were you just pass out on your desk. You were up all night thinking about what the great sage had told you a couple weeks ago it was still spiralling around in your mind; 'okay I'll tell you under one condition...' you grunted thinking about what he said, what you agreed to, made your head hurt you sighed once again pushing yourself up because after all, it's a new day, a new start and nothing possibly could go wrong at all.

"[Y/n]! Hurry up!" Your aunt was feeling ill today so you had to drop your little cousin off at school, "slow down your going to hurt yourself, and stay were I can see you" god you sounded so much like your aunt it killed you, you thought as you jogged to catch up to the small child running away from you in the blink an eye, "[C/n]! come on!" you ran off to catch up with them while they continued to unknowingly run towards a busy road, "[C/n]! Wait!" You said with more urgency in your voice as you sprinted towards the troubled child, they stopped when they realised the change of tone in your voice was more serious then playfull, now this would of been a good thing if your cousin didn't stop in the middle of the road, you legs began to burn as you ran as fast as you could, you couldn't lose someone else not again "[C/n]!!!" You stretch your hand out to them despite you being no were near the child, you watched as a car get closer and closer... when suddenly, a hooded figure reached out towards the child pulling them away just in time, "you alright there kid?" The stranger said placing their hand on your cousin's shoulder while they nodded at the stranger, you felt a wave of relief hit you like a bus "thank you so much" you said grabbing your cousins hand so they wouldn't run off again "the pleasure is all mine" the stranger said but there was something about that voice was annoyingly familiar to you and something about that smile it was like the answer was right in front of you hitting you in the face with a bat, "do I know you?" you said getting closer to the hooded man trying to get a look at his face "I always knew you were to smart for your own good" his eyes flashed purple as he rapped his arm over your shoulder his toothy grin really showing this time, you clenched your jaw "I'm going to-" your statement made him laugh "you going to do what exactly? look around sweetheart, look at all these people" he whispered into your ear "look at your little cousin do you really want to put them in danger again? and then tell me what your exactly going to do?" he had you there, there were to many people around for you to start a fight and you don't wanna cause a sense, you shoved past him you didn't have time to deal with him you had to get your cousin to school before they were any later then they already are, "you know he's just using you right? what do you think he's going to do when you get the amulet back. Honestly I'm doing you a favour" you scoffed "like I'd believe that" he sighed, "I really am trying to help you [Y/n]" the way he said that put you in a flustered daze but only for a second and before you could say anything he had disappeared into the crowd of people, was he actually being honest or was this another one of his tricks to get something out off you? you just had to wait and see and the answers would reveal themselves, very soon.

You plopped yourself onto the couch god you were physically and mentally exhausted and you were over due on a proper rest since you being running around the city all week and all the homework you've got in your room just seems to be getting bigger and bigger, and your eyes were basically like black holes and they only seemed to grow and get darker over time, you felt so... so, ah you were to tired to describe how tried you were, you groaned as your head fell back onto the couch pillow face first, your eyes were just about to close when your phone vibrated aggressively under the pillow making you hole head vibrate, god it felt as it people were doing this on purpose every time you laid down, you groaned as you turned your phone on hissing at the sudden brightness, "I found him." sent from an unknown number with an address add on the end of the message and you could only guess who that was from and for some reason you had a feeling in your gut like something bad was about to happen. You had made your way out to the middle of nowhere, it was relatively far way from the city hills and mountains surrounded the grassy planes a couple of stray trees here and there, you were unsure of what direction you where supposed to go so you took a look at your phone to see where it was you were heading, "still no signal..." god why were they all the way out here? out of all places, but your thoughts were soon interrupted by a loud crashing noise coming from on of the mountains above golden and purple lights flashing in sync you really hoped that it was not what you thought.

"Mk?" you look over at the kid trapped between a hole in the mountain and his staff, his head snapped towards you, "[Y/n]? What are you doing here? It's not safe!" He said struggling to pick up his staff, "[Y/n] you have to get out of here he'll-" Mk's sentence was cut off by a deep sinister laugh "I see you got my message" this wasn't the monkey you expected to see, Macaque "what have you done to Mk?" He laughed once again "nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about" he said doing that stupid grin that you hated "we're just waiting on one more person" god was there a time he didn't a shady as fuck? wait did he say one more person?, "ENOUGH" you knew that voice to well it was Sun Wukong but mostly know as The Monkey King, "nice of you to finally show up BUD" he mocked, the Monkey King quickly stood in front of you as if to protect you from the demon "stay behind me okay?" He whispered before going back to confronting the demon, "aren't you ever going to get sick of living in my shadow? It's time to end this" he said flying forward making a strong gust of wind nock you off your feet, you watched as the two tried to punch each other, then summoning clones they all smashed into each other exploding into golden and purple similar to what you saw before he must have been Mk fighting him before you got here, you watched as they disappeared below the mountain but still hearing them continue to fight, you decided to run over to Mk to help him out "Mk you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?" He shook his head "I'm more worried about you" loud explosions could still be heard in the background "says the kid trapped with his own staff" you joked but he never laughed "I'm serious! Your not made for the fighting stuff [Y/n], you could get really hurt" he said as you both watched the Monkie King get thrown through multiple mountains, "look out!" You looked behind to see non other than the Monkey demon himself, "you done throwing a tantrum?" You joked despite the situation that you were in, he didn't laugh "I really mean it [Y/n]" you felt a dark ora wash over you as your knees started to wobble, you felt afraid. "you talk to much" you watched his he raised his fist, you froze you knew you could do something about this situation to stop like punch him in the gut or something but you were frozen, you closed your eyes waiting for a painful connection with your face but it never came. You slowly opened one eye to see the demon being held by the neck by Sun Wukong you watched in horror as he drew back his fist and started punching him repeatedly in his face you felt your heart drop down to your stomach if he didn't stop, he was going to kill him, you had to do something as much as you didn't like Macaque in fact hated him, you couldn't stand around and watch him get killed, "stop!" you ran over to the two and with all the strength you had pushed the two apart, "don't you think he's had enough" he looked at his fist which was covered in his ex's blood although his face showed sorrow his eyes showed no regret as they burnt with hatred, he finally gave in and walked away over to his successor grabbing the staff freeing him, you put your ear to his chest he was still alive barely, his face was almost unrecognisable from the amount of blood painted on his face, if you didn't help him and quick he would surely die soon.
