(Story take's place in between S2 E1 & E6)
Friend or Foe?Blood, that annoying but vital red liquid stained your soft hands and your clothes, you knew you couldn't carry him all the way back to the city by yourself even if you did manage it would take days or even weeks, he was way bigger and taller than you there was no way you'd be able to carry his heavy body. He wasn't dead as far as you could tell anyway but you weren't a doctor, I mean you were studying to be a vet but I don't think that a demon is the same as a puppy or a kitten but all you knew was he needed medical attention and you were lost in the middle of a forest. You groaned you wanted to take a short cut to get back to the city faster or a nearby town but you decided to do the 'smart thing' and go through a forest that you've never been in before, go you. Your back was beginning to ache from carrying the demon on your back, you need to sit down for awhile or you were going to collapse like a sack of rotten potatoes, you gently lowered him onto the ground and off your swore back and rested his body on a nearby tree, you need to wipe the blood off of him so you could see the wound properly to see if it's severe or not but you didn't have anything to wipe or stop the blood, you sighed despite times calls for despite measures, you took off your shoe then took of one of your socks, as gross as this is was it should slow the bleeding down at least until we find somewhere safe to say or get out of this forest, "god why wouldn't it stop" you had used both your socks now a he wasn't getting any better you were starting to think maybe this wasn't a good idea and you had wasted time on trying to stop the bleeding and now his cut was bleeding faster then before, "shit, what the fuck am I supposed to do?" you had to keep going.
Eventually after what felt like a eternity of walking you had come to a clearing through a verity of burnt, old and cut down trees and the grass underneath you had changed from the forest green it was before then fading into a burnt dead brown and on to a mossy rocky path way with old rusty lampposts which lit up the empty land with a deep blue shade, the air suddenly turned thick as to the point were it was hard to breathe when you stepped on the rocky path, where were you? you blinked and a small burnt down old traditional Chinese village had appeared in front of you, where had that come from? it look to be deserted but you had to double check first, "Hello? Anyone there?" but your voice only echoed back, empty great no one here to help but maybe that was a good thing. You decided to take a look around for supplies for the injured demon, all the houses/huts were they were all empty except for one small thing, they all had offerings inside them with freshly lit candles around the house and out side of the house on the steps, food and flowers and unlike the outside of the houses the inside wasn't old or decaying it looked clean and new to new... weird but new meant fresh supply's had to be laying around somewhere.
You rested the demon on a dirty mattress while you looked around for something more helpful then your socks, he should be fine by myself I mean whats the worst thing that could happen?. You hopped from building to building only to find some used bandages and anti-bacterial spray that's out of date by a couple hundred years, you sighed the way things were going right now you were really concerning just leaving the demon monkey to die, I mean was he ever nice to you? except that one time were he saved your cousin from getting hit by a car so that counts as one good thing he's done for you out of the many, many, many bad things he's done to you, so you shouldn't feel so bad about just leaving him to bleed out right? Ah what were you thinking? your better then this or... are you? In a instant your thoughts were rudely interrupted by a strange hooded figure dashing through the little town holding a lantern lit in a blue flame, you quickly pressed your body to the side of the building not knowing what their intentions were. You watched as they went from house to house light candles and placing them on the steps, was this the person who put the offerings out? maybe they could help you I mean it's better then just leaving the demon to die. After a couple of minutes you had finally gathered up the courage to talk to the mysterious cloaked figure, "erm... Hey there!" you watched as they jumped up and spun around to face you, "sorry! didn't mean to scare you" you watched as the stranger quickly took a defensive position raising their fists "hey wait! I'm not going to hurt you" you watched as their muscles relaxed but not dropping the defensive stance "I kind of need your help" the stranger tilted their head before speaking in a raspy voice "and why should I help you? You have intruded on this sacred land and disrupted the spirits of this realm" what? this person was talking very fancy and old fashioned you had trouble understanding what they had just said "just listen please, I had a-" you paused for a second forcing the words to come out of you "my friend needs help he's injured and needs medical attention like right now" the stranger snarled "and why should I help you? after you brought that demon into our world?" how did they know that Macaque was a demon? "how did you even get in here mortal?" they started to get uncomfortably close to your face making you take a step back "I don't know, but the quicker you help us the faster we'll be out of your hair" you hear them sigh and clench their teeth "fine. But as soon as that demon wakes up you're both out of here".
