Who is in the basement?

Diego's POV

Several of the whores from the pack are questioning me about who is downstairs in the basement and why they aren't allowed down there? For the last month, I have told them it was someone who owes me money. But they aren't believing that anymore as of late. Lu Lu went down there a month ago and was caught by my sister, Cyndi and my Beta, Carlo. Yes I was against them being together because I need my beta strong incase we have to go to war with a rival pack again but he makes her happy and she deserves her second shot at happiness again. He is who makes her happy. The last time we went to war was triggered by my mate who was actually working with the rival pack. The same pack that killed Cyndi's mate. When I had my meeting with the pack last month, they said we needed to tell them what was truly going on downstairs. I mean it was partially true that she did owe me money but not entirely true. So now I need to inform these whöres that not only is it her father who owed me money but she is my mate. They won't be happy about it but I plan on telling them that I rejected her but she hasn't accepted it. They will be angry but I don't care.

I enter into the living room area and I'm not in the mood to be messed with. They can tell that I am angry with them right now.

~Diego~ You are probably wondering why this meeting is only you wolves here?

~Lu Lu~ Well yeah baby we are. What is going....

~Diego~ I'm not your baby. But why we are here is something you few have tried pulling on my working wolves guarding the basement..

I have never raised my voice towards any she wolf in the longest time but these whores are starting to annoy the living fück out of me. I'm over them thinking they don't have to respect myself or anyone who is of ranking.

~Diego~ As I was saying before the both of you interrupted me, Lu Lu went into the basement a month ago and lied about what happened down there. So the person down there is the daughter of someone who owed me money... He was killed so I took her as payment. But that isn't all. She was also my mate. I rejected her. I don't need a mate so I won't be taking anyone of you as my mate either. Any questions?

~Sasha~ If you rejected her why is she here?

~Diego~ She didn't accept the rejection. She doesn't have too.

~LuLu~ What happens since she didn't accept it?

~Diego~ It's unknown. This has never happened before. So if I hear of any of the three of you down there again, I will exile you all from this pack, do I make myself clear?

They all respond with Yes Alpha. I exit the room and I walk outside to where my sister and Carlo are sitting at. My sister is still highly angry with me because I tried controlling who she was allowed to mate with. I spoke to her a couple days ago and told her and Carlo that I officially accept that they are mates. Carlo and I shook hands but Cyndi told me that isn't why she is angry with me. I asked her why and she said I should know. But I do not know why?
I shut the door and she turns away from me.

~Diego~ The whores have been warned about going down to the basement. They will be exiled if they do it.

My sister huffs at me she is really angry with me.

~Cyndi~ Yeah I believe it when I see it. Your punk ass will allow those ungrateful bitches to suck your cock off and they will get away with it for the next month then it's a repeat cycle. It doesn't stop!

~Cyndi~ When was the last time that you were the one who went down to the chambers to check on Ophelia? Instead of having myself or Carlo? Never. Because your ass knows you are in the wrong. My sister walks inside and heads to take care of Ophelia. Yeah I could of gone and made sure she was okay but I haven't. Why? I don't know. I want to go and check on her but I haven't.

~Carlo~ So why haven't you gone and checked on her? There is something going on. You can't bullshit me...

~Diego~ Honestly I don't know why...

~Carlo~ Bro you do know. She didn't accept the rejection and it's slowly eating away at you. Cyndi has said she has been sleeping from the time she eats dinner til the next morning. Something is going on with you.

Maybe he is right? But truth be told I don't know what is going on with me. As I walk back inside, Cyndi comes back upstairs and heads to her and Carlo's room. Dante comes out of his room and looks at me.

~Dante~ What has happened?

~Diego~ Cyndi is still upset with me about the whores and then using their bodies to get away with anything they have down wrong. I have warned them that if any one of them go to the basement again that I would have everything single one of them exiled from the pack. They know who is in the basement and they are absolutely pissed. But I don't care.

~Dante~ Okay your my brother first and foremost, alpha second. Cyndi and I seriously thought with her, you would be getting the second shot at happiness that maybe she would be good for you. She has known each and every single time that you have had any type of relations with a whore, it's killed her more and more inside. Whether it's truly doing so inside, she's not doing good. If I were you I would put cameras downstairs to monitor if the whores go down there when shift changes. Just saying.

He leaves and heads out for his date. I think he's found his mate. But I won't push it anymore with him. I need to start checking on Ophelia every day at least, with cameras I don't need to physically walk downstairs to see if she's okay. I head down and she is staring at the wall. She isn't doing well. I set up all the cameras to make sure there is coverage and I make sure that voices will be heard if someone comes downstairs...
