Getting back to us

Diego's POV

The vacation where Ophelia and I were locked away in the cabin was nothing but magical. It was everything the both of us needed in our relationship. With us having the time away from the pack members and the drama that we were dealing with over the last several months, we mated and we share each other's markings. She is officially my Luna and my Queen. Carlo, Dante and the girls stayed at one of the other smaller houses we have on our territory, so we could have the peace and quiet. I told them I would call when Ophelia and I were ready for them to come home. That was a full two weeks we had alone. Full two weeks the two of us definitely needed.

Since everyone came back to the pack house, the main house, Ophelia has a different way about her. She has a lot more confidence in herself and she definitely doesn't allow any of the other pack members to ever disrespect her again. I am incredibly proud to call her my mate. Thinking back to how we gotten here, I can't believe I rejected her in the beginning and how she almost died because of it. She definitely put me in my place and I am forever thankful that she did. Today Selene and Cyndi went out alone since the boys as well as the members along with myself had pack business to handle. Ophelia said she would definitely be fine by herself here since the drama had been handled now. She said she was going to clean the house so when I was finished with the meeting, we could relax together.

When I came downstairs to grab a drink, I saw how messy the house was. It wasn't just her mess or things scattered everywhere, it was more of the guys and the other ladies shït thrown everywhere. I told Ophelia to leave it there and the guys could handle it. But she told me she asked the other members to pick up their things and they said they would. But that has been well over a week ago and it still wasn't even done. Ophelia said she had had it and picked everything up herself across the entire house. I can tell she is utterly exhausted cleaning up after everyone but I am going to let these members know now that if they don't clean up after themselves, they were going to be training ten times as harder than they ever had done in their lives.

~Diego~ Last order of pack business is in regards to the mess the members and their ladies had been leaving and not cleaning up after themselves.

~Member~ I told Ophelia we would get around to cleaning it up later.

~Diego~ First of all, that is your Luna or Queen. Second of all when was that that she had asked you?

~Member~ About two weeks ago. It's not that important.

~Diego~ Well it is when your girlfriends are piling on more mess on top of the mess that is already still there. It's ridiculous that you bunch are being extremely disrespectful to her and myself. She is close to snapping on your girls who are purposely making her life hell.

~Member~ You won't let her snap on us would you?

~Diego~ Oh I will. It's out of my control. You all have done nothing but disrespect her since I saved her from the basement. I have had it. She's been downstairs cleaning while Selene and Cyndi are getting groceries for the house. She has cleaned the kitchen, living rooms and entertainment rooms. You guys don't help with any house hold chores. That ends today. You four will start by picking up your slack and clean up after yourselves and your mates. Got it?

~Member~ Yes Alpha

~Diego~ I would inform your mates because if mine snaps on them, it's well deserved. Meeting is over.

As I am opening the door to the meeting room, I hear Ophelia screaming at the top of her lungs and two women laughing their asses off. I dart down the steps and see the two members mates and girlfriends spilling drinks and food all over the clean kitchen floor laughing saying nobody will believe her when she complains about this.

~Diego~ Excuse me want to repeat that again for me you both?

~Lady 1~ We didn't do anything. She began screaming for absolutely no reason at us...

~Diego~ And that is why your laughing your ass off at her? Nice try. She has done nothing and I mean nothing to either one of you. You and your mates or boyfriends have done nothing but dirtying up the pack house leaving it for your Luna and Queen to clean up because you both are spoiled little bitches. Yeah I said it. So for the next month or until I see fit, your on cleaning duty and nobody else will help.

~Lady 2~ That's not fair Alpha. She's not fit to be Luna or Queen....

Ophelia's eyes shift to a dark red color. She is absolutely livid with these ladies. She looks at me and I nod to her. I walk over to her and pull her close to me.

~Diego~ If it wasn't for me you both would of been destroyed by her. Your mates have already been informed you four will be picking up your share of the household work. No exceptions and you will have additional training until otherwise told...

I bring ophelia upstairs to our room to breathe. I know she is absolutely livid. I run her a nice warm bubble bath, get her comfortable clothes out and help her into the tub.

~Diego~ You call me when your done. I'll come back and brush your hair for you.

~Ophelia~ You don't need to do this...

~Diego~ I want too. What do you want for dinner tonight? I'll make it for you...

~Ophelia~ I'm not picky on food baby. Nothing too spicy though.

I kiss her forehead and head downstairs. I see Cyndi and Selene cleaning.

~Diego~ You both don't need to clean. That is for those four to do. You can get groceries put away and then relax at the lake with your mates. If you need me I'll be with Ophelia upstairs.

~Cyndi~ Of course brother. Is she okay?

~Diego~ Let's just say she almost attacked these two for making her life a living hell.

I hear my girl calling for me upstairs after about 20 minutes. I run upstairs and help her out the tub and getting dressed. I gently brush her hair for her and she leans back against me.

I have a funny feeling I will be kicking those four problems out of the pack very soon. None of them will change. Only time will tell.
