After swiftly picking out our activities and everything was finished, we'd had to progress with some get-along activities, to get more close with one another, they'd set us up with people whom we stayed with the least so that we'll become more closer.
and after the activities were finished, we'd have a reflecting session.
Basically it would be the counselors asking us how the activity went, was it all good, did it have issues during the activity, if something wasn't pleasing, did we face difficulties or anything of the sort. The reflecting session took the theme of a discussion, anyone could give out their opinion freely, but of course, everyone was carefully choosing their words.
Soon after the reflecting session for the previous activity ended, we saw that lunch time was nearby.
"Oh my god finally, I'm starving." Said Raphael.
"Didn't you eat two bowls of cereal in the morning or..." I asked, trying to taunt him with a joke.
"Haha, very funny Tim. Very. Funny." a false irritated expression occupied his face.
I began to laugh a little harder than usual.
"Oh what's so funny now." He asks, trying to be a little bit angry at me while holding his laughter.
"It's just your face, I can't help it but laugh. You're so funny." After I finished that sentence, both of us blasted out laughing harder than ever, I could feel the joyful tear coming out of my eye, because of how funny I found those quirky expressions of his's.
Other's noticed how hard we were laughing, and in distance we would notice that some of them we're probably laughing at our laughs.
Suddenly Joey shows up in front of us, I jumped inside of my body, as it felt like jumpscare of my emotions. Our faces were hurting from laughing but we barely could stop laughing.
"What are you guys laughing about." He slowly begins to laugh as well.
"Nothing just." We started laughing again and Raphael just fell to the ground laughing. I started cry-laughing.
"Oh my god guys, what is this funny, tell me." He was being cutely demanding.
We just couldn't stop. We were having the time of our lives from laughing until we couldn't take a grasp of air. I started to place my hand on my chest since my heart started beating faster and I felt like I couldn't breathe no matter what.
All of the sudden I can take a fresh, full breath, I feel relieved.
"Will you guys tell me or what." Joey giggling at us.
"Oh it's just, I was laughing at his expressions, the faces he was making." I responded. It was the first time I responded to him without the nervousness on my voice.
I think that this would've remained somewhat of an inside joke between the two of us, even though it wasn't anything in particular, just a funny moment that we couldn't explain it to others because all of the sudden we'd be wheezing.
"I wish I were there when this happened. You guys are laughing so hard." Joey responded with a tiny bit of jealousy.
"Alright everyone, we're going to have dinner now so would you please get in line and fill up your plates." Liam says through the megaphone.
He was quite the short dude, possibly 5'4, literally twinning in height with Kevin Hart, possibly in humor too.
We proceed to get into line, we fall somewhere in the middle. Joey was right behind me with his hand placed comfortably on my right shoulder, he was holding onto me for the first time. I was very nervous now, I tried to move my attention elsewhere, such as look at where my groupmates were.
