As we enter the hall, while holding hands, we proceed to sit next to each other.
While I was walking beside him, Joey suddenly lets go of my hand, lightly, but proceeds to invite me to sit next to him. I wholeheartedly agreed without making any sort of movement or anything to uncover my secret crush on him.
"Sit next to me, here." He grabs one of the chairs behind him and makes some room for me too. He even does that little tapping movement over the chair to gesture me to sit.
"Thanks." I was feeling a little spark from these small actions that happened within the two of us today in that short period of time.
We began with the usual activities, some challenges within the groups and against other groups, and later on the counselors told us that they had a surprise for us waiting at the main hall after the activities were completely finished.
"Tim, wait for me." Joey waves his hand up in the air trying to get my attention.
"K-Kay." I waved back at him to come quicker.
"Alright, lets go!" He was rushing himself to catch up to me, leaving his groupmates behind. ratio.
We once again gathered back to the main hall, me and Joey went in together.
He still decided to sit besides me. This time, with his arm around my shoulders.
I was feeling a little too special over these things, since we had started out to get closer and closer to each other especially today. I'm just worried about this... whole thing.
Liam suddenly raises his hand, and asks for our attention politely.
"Okay now, since the rest of the day was tiring, the staff has decided that we will go out for the night!
Each one of you will go with their representative groups and will remain together with your counselors at all times, we want all of you to be cautious and have fun. We don't want to make this conversation all about rules, but, some things are better prior to going out.
Are you guys okay with that?" Liam said.
"Oh yes!!" Joey lets it out.
I was happy, although, I was disliking the fact that me and Joey had to be separated when we went out for the night. I really wanted to spend more time with him.
"The dinner today will be served earlier than scheduled so we can give you guys some time to get ready and not miss your time on the city." Liam added to that.
We go in the order to get some food, though I wasn't feeling like eating. For the first time since I came here, I felt lonely. I just got some random foods in smaller portions and sat down at my groups table.
Messing around with my fork, playing with the food for sometime, suddenly someone taps my shoulder.
"Are you okay Tim?" Raphael asks.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine, I'm just not feeling hungry right now." I responded.
"Are you sure, because moments ago you were having the time of your life now you're all here, depressed, or something." He said.
"No, it's nothing, it's just a random mood swing." I said, tried to assure him that I was fine.
He raises one eyebrow giving me that suspicious look of I don't trust you.
"I'm serious." I chuckle.
"I swear I'm good." I did the best I could to tell him that I actually am fine.
"You don't have to lie to me you know."
After he said that sentence, suddenly, everything is covered in a sheet of silence as we continue to eat our food. I still wasn't feeling like eating, but I did not want to be left starving for the night, so I ate some of it, just so I could save my stomach from feeling hungry.
