☆ Part 23 ☆

Julieta walked away from the party while holding onto agustin's hand. Agustin stopped and realized he should be the one to bring her back home and not the other way around.

"Julieta, wait"

Julieta looked back at him and hummed.
"Hm?"

"I should be the one to bring you back, not the other way around"

Julieta smiled as agustin talked about bringing her home.
'So cute'

"Its fine, agustin. We're near your home anyways"

They cotinued walking until they arrived at his house.

"Thanks for walking me home, julieta" he said awkwardly

"Its nothing" she replied.

A silence fell between them. The moonlight shining above them. They locked eye contact and their faces slowly getting closer and closer. Agustin leaned closer to her and she slowly closed her eyes. Then... then...

"Agustin!"

Julieta quickly opened her eyes and her body stiffened and straightened. Agustin took a step away from her and also stiffened.

"Mama"

"Agustin! Get your butt over here right now" his mother said

Julieta couldnt hear what they were saying so she just waited a bit.

"Uhh ill be going now. Bye señora, bye agustin"

...

Agustin's mom smelled alcohol on his son's shirt. Her anger quickly took over her.

"Did you drink?"

"I- uhh"

"I said did you drink?"

"Y-"

She quickly pinched his ear and scolded him.

"Why on earth would you drink? And you even made julieta bring you home"

"Well"

"Hay, agustin"

She looked over to julieta who was patiently waiting.

"Ill be going now" she heard julieta say

"Boy, go and walk her home" his mom said as she pinched his side.

"Ay" he said in pain.

...

He ran to julieta and quickly caught up to her.

"Julieta" he said panting

"Agustin, what is it?"

"Im here to walk you home"

Julieta looked at him with a confused face.

"But yo-"

"I insist" he said then started walking with her.

"Well thank you"

...

When they arrived at casa madrigal, julieta stopped agustin from knocking on the door.

They went to julieta's bedroom window and casita made a makeshift ladded towards her room.

She stepped on the first step and looked back at agustin.

"Thanks for bringing me home, agustin"

Agustin blushed.

"You're welcome, julieta"

She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Goodnight, mi amor" she said and climbed up.

"G- goodnight, julieta" he said, blushing.

When julieta arrived in her room, she looked back at agustin and waved goodbye as agustin walked back to their home.

"Goodnight, mi amor"

Julieta groaned. "Pepaaaaaa"

"Oh dont be like that, julieta" she snickered. "Mi amor is such a cute nickname"
