CHAPTER 5 - Flashback 1989

The Marcos family has been in Malacanang for almost 21 Years.

But In 1986, there was a huge revolution that happened in edsa. It was led by Cory Aquino to whom she poisoned many Filipinos.

The Aquino Administration has so much hatred towards the Marcoses that they even ordered its people to kidnap the first family to go to Ilocos but then taken in Hawaii to be exiled.

Throughout the Years, many Filipinos have hated the Marcoses.

During the time that they were still in hawaii. The doctors have found that the former President Marcos had a cardiovascular disease; it is a type of illness that most patients die from.

We are here in the hospital to take care of our dad, while mom is in her interview.

"Irene, ikaw muna magbantay kay dad pupunta muna ako sa cr" I said and she nodded

I was already five months pregnant with my unica hija, and all of us are extremely happy because it's our first girl in the family.

While I was in the comfort room, someone shouted to call for help

"NURSEE" Irene shouted while crying

I immediately come out in the restroom of my dad's room when suddenly his machines are starting to beep.

"DADDDD!"

"BONGET TAWAGAN MO SI MOMMY!!" I said to bonget as my tears are already forming in my eyes

The nurse told us to wait outside the room

I have a scheduled interview in one of the stations in Hawaii

As we talked about mr. president. I heard that my phone is ringing.

There was a sting in my heart that was urging me to answer the call, but I was thinking that it might not be important, so I refused to answer.

Few minutes passed and my secretary told me that it was Bonget who was calling.

"Mrs. Marcos, your son has called you several times already. Do you want to answer him now?" My secretary asked, and it urged me to answer the call immediately

"MAA WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING"

"Dad's heart has stopped beating" He stuttering added, while I heard Irene & Imee crying on the phone

When bong bong uttered those words. I was mentally blocked for a few minutes.

I told the host to stop the interview, and proceeded to the hospital.

"Call the driver. We will go to the hospital immediately" I cryingly told my secretary.

We arrived from the hospital after a few minutes.

I nervously run as fast as I could while my hands are trembling.

"MAA" Irene uttering said when they saw me

"FERDINANDD" I yelled, and the nurses tried to block my way as the doctors are reviving him.

"Ma, magiging ok naman si dad ngayon diba?" Imee stuttering asked, as her face looked so exhausted from crying.
