CHAPTER 6 - California

During the mass, I heard a lot of whispers in my back which I knew that Irene could hear.  

"Mom, are you okay?" Alfonso asked and I looked at Irene

"Don't worry sweetie I'm okay" Irene answered

When I was listening to the priest I lost sight of Irene and noticed that Luis was looking for her.

"Bonget nakita mo si Irene?" I asked him as he was sitting beside me

"Pumunta na ata sa mansion, kasi hindi niya na daw papanoorin yung students niya" He answered

When Bonget said those words I immediately stood up and ran outside the church to find her.

Irene is a very strong woman, pero pagdating sa mga tao na merong sinasabi laban sa amin. I know for sure that she could feel a pain inside her chest.

As I was already outside the church. I saw her secretary buying a water

"Sophie, nakita mo si irene?" I asked

"Nasa parking lot po siya, and she told me na kumuha po ako na water" She answer

"Sige, ako nalang mag bibigay niyan" I said and she nodded

There was a sting in my heart, when I was on the way to the parking lot

I slowly walked towards our car, and I saw someone lying on the floor

"IRENEE" I yelled

She slowly opened her eyes when she saw me.

"Hon, I'm okay" She whisperly said

"HON KANINA MO PA YAN SINASABI ALAM KONG HINDI KA OKAY" I worriedly yelled, and she was frightened

"Honn..." She slowly said

I saw how scared she was when she uttered those words. So I tried to calmed down my mind.

When I was about to come in my senses. I helped her to get up , and open the door of the car, so she could rest there

"Hon, don't worry. I'm really telling the truth, Its just so hot inside the church that i've lost my consciousness. Also its bonget and Izabelle's celebration. We shouldnt missed that" Irene said

Knowing Irene I know she is lying, so I just sigh for a while, when she said those words.

"Okay, I'll let you rest here, but you are not allowed to go in the event without making sure that your okay" I calmly said

"Don't worry hon" She smilingly said

We both stayed inside the car so she could rest peacefully as we waited for manang and bong to call me.

I'm sitting right beside mommy meldy with borgy, matthew, and michael.

When I was about to borrow izabelle to bonget. I've noticed na wala si Irene "Asan nanaman kaya tong bruha kong kapatid" I asked to my mind, but I didn't try to find her kasi wala din si greggy baka naghaharutan sila sa labas charot.

"Psst bong, akin muna si izabelle" I whisperly said and he shook his head

"Liza, ayaw bigay ni bong si izabelle" I complained to liza

I saw how Liza gave Bonget a death stare to which I chuckled. Super na kasi napamahal si bonget sa anak niya lalo na at siya ang nagbabantay sa kanya simula nung hindi makalakad si liza sa hospital.
