CHAPTER 78 - Hardest Goodbye

After Belle heard the news, she wasn't able to react right away. Her heart is now beating so fast while her breathing becomes heavy.

Not long ago, Liza and the Rodriguez Family came.

All of them were mandated in a private room, including their friends.

There were also some media who wanted to know their statements, but they refused.

"G-good evening sir, I'm Ariane Rodriguez. How was the searching? Have you already found my son?" Ariane utteringly asked, while his husband was rubbing her back

"I'm sorry Mrs. Rodriguez, but we are still searching for them" The police officer said

Meanwhile, Izabelle.

"Sweetie anak, trust the almighty God. I'm sure he will be safe" Liza said while hugging her daughter sideways

While Liza was comforting her daughter, Bong came.

"Martin, Ariane, don't worry, my team is already looking for him. You should rest first, kanina pa kayo nasstress" Bong worriedly said

Both of them looked at him.

"N-no it's okay bong, t-thank you" Martin replied, and smiled weakly

Seeing his friend makes him worried.

Bong has already felt this with Izabelle, and he really suffered.

"Water?" Luna offered to Eli

He shook his head.

"You sure? Di ka padin kumakain" Sofia worriedly said

"I'm fine, thank you" He said

Eli was seated far away from Belle.

He might have told Izabelle that he will stop liking her, but deep inside, his heart could feel like he was stabbed by a knife.

As the searching was still on going, there were still no signs or any clues about Ivan.

Bong also coordinated with the other rescuers to find him.

On the other hand, Izabelle was just praying. She's just in the corner, sitting while controlling her tears.

"M-mom" Belle uttered

Liza looked at her.

"I will just go at the chapel lang po" She whispered

"Do you want me to accompany you?" Liza asked

She slowly nodded.

As both of them excused themselves for a while, they then went to the chapel.

"Go inside sweetie, i'll just wait you outside" Liza calmly said

Belle slowly nodded.

When she had already entered the chapel, tears were starting to flow on her cheeks. Her knees also got weakened which made her knelt on the floor.

"Please God, please save Ivan. This is all my fault, please don't take him. He's a great man. He still has a lot of goals to achieve. A lot of people were still waiting for him. He doesn't deserve to suffer like this. I still want to see him, I still want to see him as a chef. I may have committed a lot of sins, but please don't take him. If leaving is the only answer, then I will leave. It's hard for me to see this situation. I'm also suffering" She said on her mind
