CHAPTER 55 - Stressful Day

It's already morning, and I'm on my way downstairs.

I still have to attend my school, since I have a lot of schedules for today.

"Good Morning dad and mom" I greeted my parents, as I kissed their cheeks.

"Good Morning too sweetie" Mommy greeted back.

"Why are you still here po? Do you don't have any agenda?" I asked

I'm now sitting beside mommy.

"None anak" Mommy answered

I smiled.

Maybe it's because they need to get enough rest for tomorrow's big event.

"Dad, are you okay?" I asked him.

He was looking at his cell phone the whole time.

"Dad" I exclaimed and tapped his shoulders.

"Yes anak?" He asked

"Are you okay po?" I worriedly asked

He shook his head.

"Why po?" I asked

"Your tita Irene called me. She said that they will not attend the inauguration tomorrow" He answered

"What!" All of us exclaimed.

My brothers we're now on our way to the dining table.

"Bakit daw dad?" Kuya Sandro asked

"They we're tested positive from the virus" Dad answered

After I heard him, I got worried.

"Is it possible to visit them later po?" I asked

Daddy shook his head.

"Their subdivision was prohibited from going inside kaya we cant. Plus it's also dangerous" He answered

I just smiled, and went back from eating my breakfast.

We still have practice later, since tita Irene told us to.

I guess someone would just replace her later.

Few minutes later I'm done eating.

I have already bid my goodbyes to my family, and immediately entered our car.

It's already 6:30AM, and I'm almost late.

"Belle andito na tayo" Kuya Jepoy said.

"Sige po thank you, i'll just text you nalang po, since may pupuntahan pa tayo" I said

He nodded and left.

As I went inside the campus, I headed towards Mr. Dela Cruz Office.

Thankfully we are already complete, so Mr. Dela Cruz proceeded to start his discussion.

While he was talking, I was thinking of Tita Irene.

I'm quite worried that she is sick right now. I'm hoping that she could now recover faster.

"Ms. Romualdez?" Mr. Dela Cuz tapped my shoulders

"Ah yes po?" I asked

"Uhm, I was just asking you if your ready for the debates?" He asked

I nodded.

"Good, so the opposition team we're also ready. Plus I have another announcement" He said

"Ano po yun?" All of us asked.
