"Belle?" Someone said
I was awakened when someone knocked repeatedly on my door.
"Ano po yun?" I opened my door while i'm rubbing my eyes
"Halika na, panoorin na natin si daddy mo sa TV!" Manang esther said
When I stopped rubbing my eyes, I saw our whole employee standing in front of me.
I was startled.
"Ah sige po" I said
They all cheered.
All of us went to the living room, para don na lang manood.
"Upo po kayo dyan" I said calmly
"Thank you ma'am belle" They said
I smiled.
Ako na yung nag bukas ng TV, since may kailangan pa daw gawin.
"Anong oras na ba" I whispered while fixing the cables
"Ma'am, 9:32PM na po" The maid whispered
Nagulat ako, akala ko hindi ako maririnig.
"Ay thank you po" I said to her
She smiled.
After I finished fixing the cables, and setting up the channels. Binuksan ko na yung TV.
To be honest, I don't have plan to watch it, dahil malalaman ko din naman bukas.
"Para sa kahuli-hulihang resulta sa eleksyon ng may 2022..." The anchor said
After I heard what the anchor said, I immediately sat beside the maids.
I don't know why, but I felt quite nervous.
Hindi ko kasi alam kung ilan na yung votes kanina ni dad, but I'm hoping that he is leading.
"Para sa pagkapresidente..." The anchor added
"Please, please, please" I murmured while closing my eyes
All of us held our hand, while listening to the news.
"Marcoss...."
"31,104,175 million votes, Robredello 14,822,051 million vot-"
I was startled.
"BELLE!!" Manang esther yelled to which I immediately hugged her back
The other maids and also our drivers cheered so loudly which made me chuckle.
"Is this true manang esther?" I asked her while holding my tears
"Yes belle this is true" She answered
I hugged her tightly.
I cannot utter a word, because of my happiness to dad.
I'm hoping na sana ay nakauwi na sila dito para makita na nila yung results.
Defending my dad is truly worth it!
"Maam belle congrats!"
"Panalo na daddy mo, ma'am belle"
"Congrats to your dad, maam belle"
Some of our maids said
"Thank you po sa inyo" I said and hugged all of them.
While we are having fun, kuya jepoy played bagong lipunan in his spotify. Taray!
"May bagong silang! May bago ng buhay. bagong bansa, Bagong galaw. Sa bagong lipunan!" We all sang.
