The Hidden Daughter

CHAPTER 9 - Welcome Back

– Imee Marcos

It's already Wednesday morning, and today is the day that I will see our only princess. I'm really excited because it has been years since I've seen her in person and she was still a baby during that time

We are currently here in San Juan where our old house is located

"Sophie, ok na ba yung catering?" I ask her

"Yes, Ms. Imee its all set na po" Sophie replied

Buti nalang na we have the best event organizer in the family, or else nagkawatak watak na

"Apaka tagal mo manang, bilisan mo!" Bonget yelled downstairs

"Sandali nag aayos pa ako" I said while I was putting on my lipstick

"Done" I've said on my mind as I was about to open the door

"APAKA TAGAL MO!" Bonget said

"Anak ka ng timawa, ano ba!!!" I said to bonget and he chuckled

"Antanda mo na kasi manang eh, anyways lets go lagot ka kay mommy naiinip na" Bonget replied

We both went downstairs and entered the van as we were on the way to the NAIA (Ninoy International Airport) Gate 2

Whenever we are going to NAIA, there were always sting in my heart na hindi na nawawala dahil sa nangyari noong kapanahunan

"Ok ka lang Imee?" Mommy meldy worriedly ask

"I'm okay ma" I answered back

"Nandito na po tayo" Our driver said

Our body guards opened the door for us and we helped mommy meldy to get outside the car

"Tita, lola Meldy, and Tito ready na po ba kayo?" michael asked 

We nodded to what he asked and proceeded to find irene and liza's family

"Nasaan na ba sila" I said

"Palabas na yun ma" Borgy replied

We are standing outside near the exit of their airplane, and there are no people who is getting outside from it

"Ano sabi?" I asked bonget

All of us looked at Bonget when I asked him after he had a phone call

"Wala sumasagot" He worriedly said

I caressed his back because I could feel a present of nervousness in his eyes.

"Don't worry tito, it will be fine" Borgy said

My children are already adults, Borgy is a professional model, Michael is a lawyer and Matthew is the current governor of Ilocos Norte. All of them are in a relationship while Michael has his own family

"Anak, hindi pa ba sila dadating" Mommy meldy asked bonget

"Let's just wait ma" Bonget replied

We all waited for almost 15 minutes and were already worried

As we were about to panic already, we heard someone behind us

"Daddy!"

"Belle" Bonget yelled and a young girl ran and hugged him immediately

Is this izabelle? She is so tall like mommy meldy

As Bonget and Izabelle were hugging each other, I didn't realize that I was staring at Izabelle with a huge wonder-struck on my head
