Shadow and I reach a abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods and decided to rest there for a few days. As always we look around the outside for any way the monsters could come in but also a way out if we are trapped. Once we find and plan our emergency exit plan we head inside and made sure all the rooms were cleared. Unfortunately we found a little girl laying in her bed peacefully with a bullet hole between her eyes. She could've been no more than 6 years old. She had a large bite wound on her grass stained leg meaning she was attacked while playing innocently outside. In the corner was her father who took his own life. What made this more tragic was the woman in the back yard who was turned to one of the monsters. Shadow found a picture and we realized that the woman was this girls mother and was the one who bit her daughter. Shadow and I wrap the bodies and buried them in a grave and placed a grave mark.

Shadow and I went to the farmers market at Angel island because he was curious on what kind of crops we grew. I laughed when he saw it was the same kind crops like every other farmers market. We run into my dad and talk for a little while. "Oh also have you all heard about that new illness?" My dad asked. "Yeah our friend cream was telling us about it. "Well unfortunately your brother caught it and he's in the hospital." "What dad why didn't you tell me?" "Because son they are only allowing one person and you know I have to be there for your brother." "True... just keep me updated ok..." "you know I will son. It was good seeing you again shadow and I wish you both happiness" "thanks Locke" shadow smiled as my dad walks away. Little did I know that would be the last time I ever saw him....alive.

As we head back to the mushroom kingdom I can tell shadow was worried for me. "Hey it's ok Knux maybe we can send him a card" he said smiling making me feel better. "Yeah that's a good idea thanks" I smile back.
Later on after shadow drops me off at home I decided to watch the news for any updates on this illness. When I saw that it had spread throughout California and made it to some parts of the coast where we are and across the world I knew it's gonna be a pandemic. The United Nations had come to the agreement that face and eye coverings must be worn since it is believed to be airborne. I couldn't believe it but from what cream was telling us at the party I took it seriously. I mean my brother has been infected with it.

And I don't want to become sick with it myself...
