Knuxadow: Zombie apocalypse

Attack

We catch a glimpse of what had happened and stare in horror at a large semi had crash through the walls and a hoard of zombies started flooding in. "Don what the fuck have you done....." I said. "Wait don is responsible?!" Shadow said and I nod. "He said we were gonna storm the camp but I didn't think he meant like this..." I said in horror and heard a gun cock. "Well then let's fight" Shadow smiled and I do the same. I pull out my gun and we start fighting with our group. But it soon became deadly as more and more zombies start entering. Screams and flesh tearing sounds fill the night sky as many of our people are being eaten. Shadow and I decided to pull back and find another way out. It wasn't until I felt someone grab me. I turn to see fang his eyes filled with rage. "FIRST YOU STEAL MY SEX TOY NOW YOU BRING THE DEAD TO MY CAMP! I WILL KILL YOU!" Fang said trying to stab me. I knock the knife out of his hand and punch him. Fang wipes the blood from his lip and throws a punch in my gut then my face. I grabbed his waist and we fumbled to the ground I was on top punching him nonstop for killing my uncle and raping Shadow. He caught me by surprise by blocking one of my punches and pins me to the ground. "LISTEN HERE ONCE YOURE DEAD I WILL FUCK SHADOW AGAIN NEXT TO YOUR CORPSE!" He hissed as fire and screams grow behind him. He pulls out a knife but I managed to kick his body off of me and right into a group of zombies. We watch in horror as they tear him open and blood is pouring out of his chest and torso. They bite on his shoulders and neck letting out a fountain of blood. The sides of his face being torn as he screams and tongue dangling once his jaw dropped to the ground. Shadow grabs me and we run as more of these monsters appear. "THERES TO MANY!" Shadow yelled when we saw our exit being blocked by more of the dead. "Damn it!" Shadow and I yelled. I see a building with a window over the gate we could escape from. "THERE!" I said and we start running. We burst through the door and start heading up the steps as fast as we could. "KNUCKLES!" Shadow yelled I turn and see one of them had grabbed his leg and I shoot it releasing his grip on shadow and help him up. We finally made it to the floor and barricaded the door. I go right to the window and noticed a river below. "Ok Shadow we're  going to jump into that river and run as fast as we can back to our camp-" "K-knuckles I-I-I can't...." I hear shadow say in a low sad tone. "What? Why?" I ask turning around and see him sitting on the floor with tears in his eyes. "Shadz?" I asked walking up. "Knux.... Back on the steps when I called your name.... I-I....." he sighed and raised his jeans and my eyes tear up when I saw a large bite mark on his leg. "I was bitten...." Shadow said looking up into my eyes with tears. "Go knux.... Leave me...." He said. "No....no no no I'm not leaving you..." "knux.." "No..." "Knuckles listen to me! You and I both know how this ends!" Shadow yells. "I can't...Shadow please...." I kneel down staring at him as tears fall from my eyes. "Shadow I won't leave you to die....I won't leave you to become one of those monsters......" I said feeling a lump forming in my throat. Shadow caressed the side of my face his thumb wiping away one of my many tears. "Then shoot me so I won't die alone and I won't become one of those monsters." He said eyes filled with tears but also scared. "I love you and I want you to put me out of my misery. I want the last thing I see in your beautiful purple eyes so I can die with a beautiful memory." "I love you too which is why I'm going with you" I said and sat next to him. I look at my gun before looking at him. "I can't survive without you so if you go then I go and don't try to convince me otherwise because you know I'm to damn stubborn." I smile making him chuckle. I look at his leg and noticed the virus has already crawled up to his thigh and was decomposing. "We fought til the end didn't we." He said. "Yes we did" I smiled. We kiss each other deep and look in each other's eyes. We held each others hands and Shadow closes his eyes. "See you on the other side knux" "See you soon too Shadz..."
