Knuxadow: Zombie apocalypse

Day 1

I felt my heart sink. "H-he's gone...." I said and Amy nods crying. "What happened....." "we were surrounded and he tried to spin dash a path but......" she covers her eyes as tears fall. "I can't get his screams out of my head.... I managed to escape but once I saw his body when I turned back...... so...much blood....." she cries. I noticed a cut on her arm. "Ames let me patch up your cut..." I pull out a small gaze pad and tape to badge her arm. "Thanks knux..." she said. Deep down that image of sonic being killed was something I will never get out of my head. "Im gonna assume everyone in the hospital is dead?" Shadow asked. "Yes we tried to find cream but..... she was already dead...." Daisy said. "Well we can't stay here for long we need to find away out." "Let's get into your car knuckles" peach suggested "can't the damn thing died just as we got here" I growled. Shadow starts handing everyone a gun. "Then we shoot our way out." Shadow said. "And go where?" Rouge asked. "Anywhere besides here" shadow said. Luigi looks out one of the window. "Hey there's a clearing" he said we all look and nod before running away from the church.

We finally decided to stop since we haven't seen anything for the past hour. I turned to notice Amy was a bit pale. "Yo Ames are you ok?" I asked walking up. "Yeah just all that running made me feel a little sick to my stomach." She groaned and I give her half of a energy bar. "This should help" I smiled. "Thank you" she smiled sitting down and eats the bar. "So now what?" Mario asked. "Honestly we should look for more survivors and start to build a fortress to keep the dead out." Shadow said. "Ok let's do it" peach said. We continue through the woods and noticed it's about to rain. I soon see the back of my house. "Let's go in there and hope my house hasn't been ransacked by looters." I said and we all head inside through the back door. I noticed the glass was broken and the door unlocked but boarded up. "Shit.." I whispered. I see a male grey wolf, female raven and Jack the bartender who looks like he was crying. We walk closer and they pull out weapons. "Whoa calm down we're alive" I said. "Knuckles?" Jack lowers his weapon and hugs me. "I thought the red echidna we found was you I thought-" "what red echidna?" He points over to two bodies lying under sheets. "Just letting you know we found him eating the older echidna." My heart starts pounding as I pull back the first sheet to see my brothers dead face. His eye was clawed out and dangling from his socket with his mouth chewed off showing bloody teeth. Tears start forming staring at him with a stab wound in his head. "Mace....." I whispered. "Rest in peace brother....." I said pulling the sheet back over him. I didn't have to wonder because I already knew who was under the second sheet and I was correct. I let my tears fall when I saw my fathers face with a stab wound in his head too. I felt shadows hand on my shoulder as I cover my father back up. "Rest in peace dad....." I said. Shadow sits next to and I cry into his shoulder morning the lost of my father and brother.
Our friends leave us alone so I could mourn as they finished boarding up the house. "I'm guessing this was your house...." The female raven asked walking up. "Yes it is..." "here we found this note address to you" she hands me a bloody piece of paper.

I pray you are somewhere safe and come back to get this letter. Your brother has become one of those things and chased me here. I blocked the door for now but he is getting through. He bit me as I shut the door and I'm starting to get the same symptoms he had before he died and turned after having part of face eaten off. Don't get bitten! You will turn into these monsters. If they don't finish your body you will come back as these monsters. If you don't put a bullet in your head to die you turn to these monsters.

I hold the letter close to my chest. "I love you too dad....." I said and put the note in my bag. "I'm so sorry about your father he seemed to really care about you" she said. "Yeah...." I said but then I realized something. "Don't get bitten!"

*Flashback*
I was wrapping Amy's arm and noticed the cut looked like teeth marks.

Her being pale after we ran.

Oh no....

"AGHHHHHHH!" Rouge screams. We run to the scream seeing Amy eating Mario. Her eyes just like tails and the rest of the monsters. "Mario!!!" Peach cried. I pull out a machete and cut off Amy's head then stab it before stabbing Mario's head. "Rest in peace..." "Mario no please no I can't live without you!" Peach grabs my machete and slits her throat. "Peach!" She drops dead and I stab her skull making sure she never comes back.

The rain finally lets up a bit and we dig graves in the backyard to bury my family and our friends. We mark the graves before heading back inside to get some rest. We lost so many people we care about today and our world is no longer what we once cherish.
Shadow holds me close to his chest as we sleep hearing the ungodly moans from the monsters outside.

This was indeed the end of our world.
