Jammie's POV:

I stared at my phone, waiting once again, for Milo to answer the phone. 'The number you are trying to reach is unavailable, at the tone, please record your message, when-' I groaned, this is the thirtieth time... Looking at the clock, I noticed how the time had gone by so very quickly. I got up and decided to head home for the night, I'll watch the cameras later to see why Milo has been ignoring me.

Second Person POV:

You yawned slowly opening your eyes. The room smelt so sweet... You sat up looking around. Seeing Milo next to you in bed made you jump, causing him to wake up. "Huh..? What's wrong..?" he asked tiredly. You looked at him, then yourself, he was only wearing his boxers, and you were wearing an oversized shirt, possibly his. You looked around looking for an explanation before you remembered the situation and eased up a little. Milo took your hand and lightly kissed it. "Good morning, my sweet angel." He said with a smile, causing you to let out a squeak. He chuckled getting up and stretching a little. "I'll be in the kitchen, feel free to use the bathroom first!" He said walking away, blowing a kiss to you before he turned the corner. You blushed, you couldn't help but feel guilty about this. No matter how much you thought about it, this was wrong. You walked into the bathroom trying to get your mindset straight. You shut the door behind you and looked in the mirror, seeing Milo's phone on the counter. You picked it up seeing the missed calls from Jammie. You nervously set it back down. You hoped Jammie wouldn't show up soon. You jumped hearing loud pounding on the front door, feeling unsafe, you locked the bathroom door and stayed in there trying to calm your breathing. "I'm coming!" Milo said. You could hear him unlock the door, it was silent for a while. Finally, Milo said something, "A-Are you alright..?" You could hear large footsteps come in. Feeling panic growing inside you. Then, the voice spoke, "Would you help me out..?" You paused, getting nervous hearing Archer's voice. "Ah! Of course- give me a moment to- Oh! Right now- Okay-" You stared at the door wondering what was going on. A few minutes went by before someone finally said something.  "Is this okay..?" Milo asked, "Y-Yeah... Hurry up and just get on with it..."  "Ah- Oww! Stop that, you clumsy idiot!" Archer said raising his voice."You have to tell me if it hurts! How in the world am I supposed to know?!" Archer would groan, "Just give it here I'll do it myself." "No way! Lie down!" Milo begged. "You don't know how to put it on. I want to be able to breathe properly after you finish." Archer said. "I told you, I've got this! You're way too tense. The tenser you are the more it's gonna hurt!" Milo said. "Nghh! Fuck- don't be so rough!" "Sorry sorry! Can you move your legs to the side, it's kind of hard to-"  "Good lord, just get in between-" You stared at the door in pure fear of what was going on. You opened the door slightly trying to find out what was going on. You could see Archer without his shirt on, Milo putting bandage wrap over wounds. Milo is in a robe. "A-Are you sure you don't want to see a hospital..?" Archer would sigh nodding. "I'll be fine." Milo shook his head, "That's not what I'm worried about..." Archer would shrug, "Don't move-" Milo said continuing to put the bandages on him. The room was silent for a long while.

Milo's POV:

I continued putting on the bandages. Good heavens...Did Jammie give him all these wounds..?  I sighed shaking my head, continuing. "Milo..." I heard Archer say. I looked up at him. "Yes?" I asked curiously. "As much as a help you are to me...I wish you stayed back, where it's safe...Why do you always risk your life for me..?" I smiled, "Ten years ago...When you showed me kindness despite my trying to kill you...It was then that I vowed that I would always do the same for you!" He stared, "I saved you to keep you alive, but now you insist on following me into more danger. I almost lost you twice! Don't make me go through that again!" I smiled, "The truth is, Archer, you were my hero. You made me realize it was alright to depend on another person. Unlike Jammie, you asked for nothing in return and our friendship didn't make me feel weak for accepting your help." Archer would groan, "Give me a break, Milo. You're getting sentimental on me. Such a sap sometimes..." I would smile, "I don't mind you being my knight in shining armor, but I need you to let me return the favor!" He'd groan, "This isn't a fairy tale, Milo! I might not always be there for you! As long as you're around me you're in danger. Even if I want you to be with me, it's just not safe!" "Don't baby me, Archer! I'm not some delicate flower! I saved you from Jammie twice! ...I know the risk and I still want to help, I made that choice a long time ago! That's why I crammed so hard to graduate college in three years, so I could help you investigate!" I backed up seeing Archer get up quickly, in pure pain, he held his gut. "Since then!? You were in a coma for two years! I've been married and had a kid- both who I'm terrified to see because if I do, I might get them killed! I can't protect them and I can't protect you, and that pisses me off!" I stared at him nervously. "What happened while I was...Asleep. None of that changes how I feel." He's scared. He acts with anger when he's afraid... But he can't hide behind that tough-guy facade with me. "I understand you're afraid to lose me and Y/N, but pushing us away isn't the answer to your fears. You have to face them! I'm tough, Archer. I survived Jammie's drunken torture! I can handle myself." He sat back down, slowly. "So you still insist on staying after all of that, huh?" "Of course!" I smiled holding my arms out. He sighed smiling, going in for the hug. I wrapped my arms around him looking at the angel, seeing them panic and shut the door. "Milo..." Archer said, I nervously nodded, "M-Mhm..?" "Who was that..." He said tightening his grip on me. I tensed up trying to think of an excuse. Oh, great heavens.
