Milo's POV:

I walked into the room feeling tension hit me. I was being held back to be pat down, and I suppose a lot when down while I was gone. I looked at Archer, who was visibly upset. "Look, Bitch," I heard Archer start, noticing Lottie not paying attention. "Have you seen how much trouble I go through to make sure you don't die in a ditch? No, you're too busy being a spoiled rotten princess. And now, your husband finally saw through it. And look who's panicking now." "I never loved him in the first place!" Lottie screamed out. Archer stared at her."You...Hold on, I'm confused... Why'd you marry him?" "You forced us to get married! Dad, for fucks sake! I like women! I'm a lesbian!" I stared at Archer in pure shock. He shook his head, "No you aren't. You wouldn't have even let Zane get near you like that if it was true. I can tell you're lying young lady. You just don't want to admit you hurt Zane for the last time, and he finally got the balls to say something." She'd growl, "Stop! You didn't care for me before, don't care for me now! Why don't you go have a foursome or something!?" Archer turned towards the officer, "How much is the bail..?" "For the last time, I'm not going with you!" The officer would shrug, "Three Thousand Five Hundred. ($3,500.)" Archer would nod, "Done. Milo, start writing a check." I would nod getting out the checkbook, while Lottie kept fighting her father. I would hand the officer a check, looking back at Lottie, "Please don't fight your father, Lottiebug. I know everything is stressful and a lot to handle, but we only wish to help you!" She looked at me, tears in her eyes. "Why is everything so much to handle..?" She asked as the guard let her out. I held my arms out and she fell onto me, crying. I wrapped my arms around her trying to help her out, while Archer stared. I suppose he didn't know what to say. "You see...I know you hate your father, but you have to remember, he isn't good with emotion. He's trying the best he can." Lottie would nod. "Everything...Is going downhill...A-And I can't go through it alone this time." I'd smile running my hands through her hair, "You won't be alone. We'll be here for you." She smiled looking up at me, "Thank you..." I nodded, "Let's try to set things straight, Kay?" She nodded.

Second Person POV:

(A few hours have passed.)

You sat on the couch in Milo's apartment. Feeling overwhelmed. Duke (Milo's dog) was sitting next to you, trying his best to calm you. You heard the door unlock and Duke ran over to greet Milo. He smiled petting him. "How are you doing?" Milo asked. You shrugged, "I'm...Alright. Just overwhelmed." He nodded, walking over and hugging you. "It's alright! Everything is going to be alright!" You looked up at him, "And if it isn't?" He sighed, "I...I'm unsure...But I'll be here for you!" He smiled. You nodded smiling, "Thank you." "Of course!" He responded letting go. He hurried off to his room, you followed, curious. He was going through his closet looking for good tuxedos. "Is there something special going on?" You asked. He nodded, "I'm going to go see an old friend." You smiled, "Oh yeah?" He nodded, "It's been many years, but I'm sure we'll still be as talkative as before!" You started to leave the room, "I hope you have fun!" He sighed, "I hope it'll go right this time." You paused looking back, "What do you mean?" He shrugged, "Well, we both got severely injured last time." Your eyes widened, "How come!?" He shook his head, "I...Don't wish to talk about that." You nodded, "I understand, you don't have to share what you don't wish to." He nodded leaving the room to go shower. You felt your phone vibrate, jumping slightly, then you really jumped when it was a call from Archer. You hesitated, but answered. "Hello..?" It was silent for a minute. "Hey...Is Milo around..?" You frowned, "Er...Yeah, he went to go shower, here I'll get him-" "No! Don't get him!" he interrupted you. "I want you to...Stop him from leaving the house. He can't go see his wife..." Your eyes widened, "That's who he's going to see!? A-And they're still together!?" He sighed, "Yeah...They never got a divorce...But that woman is horrible to him. She's the reason he was in a comma. You need to promise me to keep him inside."  You nodded, "If I do...Can I go live back with you?" It was silent for a while, "Sure..." You smiled, "Then I'll try my best!" He groaned, "Call me if you are unsuccessful...Please..." Before you could even say anything, he hung up. You sighed looking at the bathroom door, was she really that bad?  You questioned. You saw Milo leave the bathroom, all dressed up. "Milo...Do you...Have to go?" You asked. He looked over smiling, "Of course!" You whined, "But I wanna stay with you for a while..." He frowned, "I'm terribly sorry, love. When I get back we can hang out all you want!" he smiled. You walked over clinging to him, "Pleaseee..." He stared at you. "Please...Don't fight me on this I know Archer is making you do this." You let go, surprised. "I'll be alright...I promise. We're only going to talk a little, and check on each other. That's all." "Can't you talk to her here..?"  He smiled, "She loves expensive restaurants...She'd hate it if I changed it all of the sudden." You looked at him upset. He sighed, "Here," He dug into his pocket and handed you a ring. "This is my feel better ring. When I'm upset, I hold onto it. It really helps." He smiled, "Take care of it, Kay?" You nodded. He kissed your cheek, "I'm going now! Please don't tell Archer!" He rushed out of the door. You looked at the ring blushing. How is this sort of working..?
