Chapter 5 ( victim check in)

" ok, let me add the victim's name into the computer here. ( click, clack, click,clack) ok, the victim is in the system now. You can bring the victim in the exam room for me guys", the doctor stated to me and Alex and the crime clean up crew.
The two men rolled the gurney into the exam room and they stopped it in the middle of the floor. Then the crime clean up crew walked out of the room and stood with me and Alex.
" Is that all I can do for you Detective and Captain?", the doctor exclaimed.
" Ummm... we just need to get an autopsy report on what the victim died from and what time of death too, I can give you this card and you can call us back with the results, sounds good?" I exclaimed to the doctor.
" Yeah that should be good, I will let you guys know as soon as possible Detective", the doctor stated.
" Great! Thank you so much, I exclaimed.
Then I pulled out a contact police station card from my girly wallet and I handed it to the doctor.
" well I guess we will be out of your hair and call us when you are done examine the body for us doctor".
" ok, I will Detective Alice", the doc added.
" bye, have a great rest of your day!"
" bye, you too!"
We then left the room and we went down the elevator to floor #1. We walked out and we went back to the van, we got inside and we drove back to the police station. Once we got back to the police station, Alex parked the van with the other police van's and we got out and walked inside. I then went directly to my desk to get started on some paper work on this case. A bit past and it was time for me to pack up and go home for the night. So I cleared my desk and and I grabbed my stuff and I walked into Alex's office.
" Hey sweetie, read to go?", I exclaimed to Alex.
" Hey Honey, yeah I think I am ready to go".
" ok good".
I waited for a second while Alex packed his stuff up and he got out of his seat and we walked out and he locked up his office. We then walked out and we got into his car and we drove off from the police station. It was 5:00 when we left the police station and me and Alex are going to get some dinner together.
Alex began to say.... " So where do you want to get dinner from Alice?"
" I am not sure sweetie, where do you want to get food from?", I stated.
" I am not sure either. Maybe do you want to get fast food or take out restaurant food?", Alex added.
" I would say restaurant take out if that is ok?", I exclaimed.
" Yeah that sounds good. How does Chinese food sound to you?"
" that sounds really good to me, let's get that and then take it back to my apartment", I added.
" Yeah that sound great Alice. So let's get China Food for dinner then", Alex exclaimed.
Alex drove the car on the busy road full of all shape and sized cars on this busy road. He then finally reached China Food which is the name of the restaurant we are going to get for take out. He parked the car behind another car and he parked it, we got out and we got onto the side walk and we walked into the restaurant. We then walked up to the front desk and we waited in the long line in front of us because this place has really great Chinese food here in New York City.
A bit past and a waitress at the desk started to say... " Hello how May I help you two?"
" Hello, we will like to order to go please and thank you", I stated.
" ok, here is a menu you two can look at for a bit", as the waitress handed me a menu to look at with Alex.
" thank you so much", I stated.
Me and Alex sat down on two chair in the waiting area and we stared at the menu together to decide what we can get for dinner and then take it back to my apartment to eat and to enjoy.
" I think we should do the buffet and then we can get whatever we want if their buffet is opened still, of course", I exclaimed to Alex.
" Yeah that sounds good to me Sweetie. Let's get the buffet stand then", Alex exclaimed with a smile on his face.
Then suddenly! I looked up and the waitress was back behind the desk again.
So me and Alex stood up and walked to the desk and we started to say to her at the same time... " We would like to get the buffet stand to go please and thank you", we both exclaimed at the same time.
" Sure thing you two", the waitress stated.
She then handed up 2 white styrofoam to go boxes and we walked to the buffet stand. I scooped up: fried rice, steamed veggies, chicken egg rolls, beef and broccoli, and egg drop soup and I put all of that in my box except for the soup. I put that into a to go styrofoam bowl container. I then closed the box up and I waited for Alex for a second. We then walked back to the desk to pay for our meal, we placed our boxes down and the waitress opened up both of the boxes to see what was inside and to know what we would be paying for our dinner. She then did some tapping and typing on a iPad and then she closed the boxes up and she grabbed a plastic bag and she placed the boxes inside as well with the soup container too. Then she pulled out some napkins, sauce and some fortune cookies into the bag.
" Your total will be $40.37 please", the waitress added.
" ok", Alex stated.
Alex pulled out his debit card and paid for the food.
The waitress started to say... " thank you for coming in China Food and you both have a great rest of your evening".
" Thanks you too, me and Alex exclaimed at the same time.
