Chapter 12 ( Friday)

Friday came and so I shut off my screaming alarm and I crawled out of bed. I then opened up my curtains in my room and I made my bed. I then grabbed my work clothes and I placed them on my bed so I can get all ready for work for today. I then got dressed and I fixed my hair in the bathroom and I did some light makeup like blush and mascara. I then pulled out a really cute and pretty dress that Alex would like on me and I pulled it out of my closet. I then grabbed a pair of cute white high heels and a small hand bag and I put them all on my bed. I then walked out of my bedroom and I grabbed my backpack and I took it back to my room. I then unzipped it and I put my dress in the big pocket and the hand bag and my heels in the pocket. I then zipped it up and I made sure I have my stuff ready for the date tonight after work. I then put on my shoes and I grabbed my phone and wallet and I walked out of my bedroom. I the. Unzipped the little pocket and I shoved my phone and wallet in the pocket. I then zipped it up and I walked out of my apartment. I locked the door behind me and I walked away. I then got into my car and I locked the doors and I put my backpack down on the passenger seat. I then turned on the car, buckled up and I drove to the police station. Once I got to the police station, I got out and I grabbed my backpack and I then walked inside the building. Today I need to help pack up some stuff because we are moving to the other building on Monday. I then walked to my desk and I placed my backpack down. I turned on my computer and I sat down in my chair. I looked around and I have not seen Alex come in yet. A few minutes later, Alex finally walks into the building.
He comes up to my desk and says..." hey, Alice. Are you excited for our date tonight?", Alex stated.
I began to say... " yes, I am so excited. I brought my clothes with me that I will be wearing for the date tonight".
" oh good, me too", Alex added.
He unlocked his door to his office and he walked inside. A lot of the police officers were packing stuff up while I continued to do work. I know that later today the doc will be calling me because of the results on the knife we found at the crime scene. Which hopefully, the blood on the knife is Clint's blood and he prints are on the knife too. About 10:00 rolled around and I got a call on my work phone.
I picked it up and I started to say.... " Hi this is Detective Alice, how may I help you?"
" Hello, Alice. This is Doc, calling you about the results about the knife from the Wallace Case", the doc stated.
" oh hi doc, what were the results?", I exclaimed.
" the results were that the knife has Hanna's prints on it and Clint's blood is on the knife", the doc exclaimed.
" oh ok, thank you so much doc", I exclaimed again. " Can you fax me the results please and thank you".
" sure I can do that for you Alice. Give me one second", the doc stated.
I waited a second when... I got a fax from the doc with the results from the knife.
" thank you so much doc, I can't wait to see you on Monday at the building", I shouted over the phone.
" you are welcome Alice, I also can't wait to see you and Alex too on Monday", the doc also shouted over the phone.
" ok, well I guess I got to get back to work then, I hope you have a great rest of your day doc", I yelled.
" ok Alice, you too", the doc yelled back.
We hung up the phone and I got back to work. I needed to copy the fax so that I can give it to Alex. So, I got up and I walked over to the printer. I copied the fax and I grabbed the warm copy piece of paper and I walked away. I walked into Alex's office and I put the copy piece of paper in the basket on his desk.
I began to say... " the knife did have Hanna's prints on it and Clint's blood on it too".
Alex began to say... " Oh ok, thanks for putting it in the basket. Make sure to put the actual fax in the case box".
" yeah I will Honey", I exclaimed.
I then walked out of his office and I walked into the case file room. I grabbed the Wallace case box and I took it back to my desk. I opened the box up and I put the piece of paper in the box. I then closed the box up and I put it back into the case file room. 
I walked out of the room and I started to say to officer Shooter saying... " hey officer Shooter, can you put the Wallace case file box on my new desk once we are all moved into the new building on Monday please and thank you".
" yeah I can do that Detective Alice", officer Shooter exclaimed to me.
" great!", I exclaimed.
I then walked back to my desk and I sat down and I got back to work. 6 hours later and it was 5:00 p.m. and so it was time to be done with work for the day. So I turned off my computer and and I got up and I pushed in my comfy office chair and I grabbed my backpack and I walked into Alex's office.
" hey are you ready for our date Alex?", I stated.
" yup, are you?", Alex stated.
" yeah I am. I was about to go to the bathroom to change into my outfit for tonight", I exclaimed.
" oh good, I was going to go change as well", Alex stated. 
I then walked out of Alex's office and we walked past the elevator to the bathrooms. I went into the Ladies bathroom while Alex went into the Gentlemen's bathroom. I then went into a stall and I changed out of my work clothes and into my date outfit for tonight. I then fixed my hair nicely and differently and I also touched up my makeup to. I put my shoes on and I grabbed my hand bag too. I shoved my work clothes into my back pack and I then walked out of the Ladies bathroom. I waited for a couple of minutes and then Alex walked out, he looked really nervous for some odd reason. We then walked out of the police station hand in hand. We then got into His car and we drove to our date spot. We then went to Olive Garden which is my favorite restaurant. So Alex found a parking spot and he parked the car, turned off the car and got out. He then went to my door and he opened it for me. I got out and I grabbed my hand bag. We then walked to the front doors holding hands, we walked inside and waited for the host or hostess to come and seat us at a table.
