Chapter 13 ( Last date being boyfriend and girlfriend)

We waited a few more minutes and the host came.
The host started to say... " do you have a reservation sir?", he exclaimed to Alex.
" yes I do, it is under Whitman", Alex exclaimed back.
" oh here you are, table for two. Right this way please", the host said in a calmly manner.
We then walked holding hands to our table. Alex then walked to the chair I was going to sit in and he pulled it out like a gentlemen. I then sat in the chair and he pushed my in a bit. I placed my hand bag down on the table right when Alex sat down in his chair. The host placed down our menus right in front of us both.
The host began to say.... " what can I start out for you both to drink?"
Alex began to say... " can we get a bottle of white wine please and thank you".
The host stated... " sure, coming right up".
The host then left our table.
Alex began to say... " so... what are you going to order for dinner Alice?"
I began to say... " oh! I am going to get chicken Alfredo with a side of salad. What are you going to order?"
" I think I am going to order the same thing as you", Alex exclaimed.
" cool!", I stated.
A bit past and the host came with two wine glasses and a bottle of white wine. He put the glasses down on the table and he unscrewed the cork off the wine bottle and he poured the wine in the two glasses. I then grabbed my glass and Alex grabbed his glass and we both took a sipe of the wine.
The host started to say... " is it good guys?"
Alex began to say... " yes it is, thank you ".
The host added... " good, you are welcome. Are you both ready to order?"
Alex added... " yes we are".
Alex then began to say to the host... " Can I get the chicken Alfredo and a salad please".
The host wrote it down on a piece of paper.
He then began to say to me... l and for you miss?"
I began to say... " I would like the same too".
The host wrote it down and started to say... " ok I will have your orders out soon".
The host walked away and me and Alex began talking to each other.
30 minutes past and we got our salads and we started to eat our salads together. After we ate our salads the host came to our table and took our dirty plates away. He then put our dinner down right in front of us, it smelt so good. We then started to eat and talk some more to each other. Another 30 minutes past and we were done eating and so the host came back and he took our dirty plates away from us. A few minutes past and the host brought out 2 pieces of cheese cake and a tiny box which I was surprised! He put the cake right in front of us and he put the tiny box down right by Alex's cake. Alex then began to say in a scared and nervous voice... " I love you Alice so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So will you marry me?"
Alex got up from his seat and he got down on one knee and he proposed to me!
I began to say... " I love you so much Alex and Yes, a thousand times yes, I will marry you".
He then took the ring out of the tiny box and he placed it on my left ring finger. He then got up from the ground and I stood up and we kissed. I was so happy and Alex was to that everyone in the restaurant clapped for us. We then sat down and we ate our cheese cake together. A while past and we were ready to leave Olive Garden so Alex paid and we left the restaurant.
I began to say to Alex... " Thank you so much for a wonderful night and proposing to me".
" you are welcome Sweetie, I love you so much babe", Alex stated.
" I love you to babe", I exclaimed.
We walked to the car and Alex opened my door and I got in and I buckled up. I starred looking at my engagement ring on my left hand admiring the beautiful ring. Alex then got into the car, buckled up and started the car and we drove away from Olive Garden. It was now 11:00 p.m. at night so Alex drove back to the police station so that I can get my car. I then got out of the car andAlex did as well and he then kissed me good night and I got into my car and I drove to my apartment. Once I got to my apartment, I got out and I grabbed my backpack and I locked my car. I then walked into the apartment building and I went to my apartment. I then unlocked my apartment and I walked in and I then locked the door behind me. I then walked to my bedroom and I got undressed and I got into my pj's. I grabbed my backpack and I unzipped the bag and I took out my work clothes and I put them in the dirty clothes hamper. I then took off my makeup, brushed my teeth and then I got into my warm bed.

Saturday morning came...
The next morning came and I got up at 6:00 because today is the moving day of the police department. So I got up and I got dressed into nice clothes such as.... a nice top, skiing jeans and Levi's for shoes. I then put my red hair into a high bun and I did some quick makeup. I then grabbed my backpack and I walked out of my apartment and I locked it behind me. I got into my car and I drove to the police station. I then heard my phone go " ding"! So I then quickly pulled it out of my backpack.
I then saw that it was a text from Alex my fiancé  which stated.... " hey beautiful! I am headed my way to the police station right now, are you as well?"
I started to say into my phone... " hey Siri! Text Alex".
" what do you want to say", Siri asked me.
" hey handsome! I am on my way too, see you soon!"
" ready to send it?", Siri asked.
" send", I exclaimed.
Then my phone dinged again and Alex replied... " see u soon!"
I then continued to drive and it took me a bit to get to the police station. Finally I made it to the police station, I parked my car and I got out and I walked into the building. Alex finally showed up and so he was the one to direct us of what we need to do. Alex sent me to the back where the files are and I walked to the room. I started to grab one box at a time and I grabbed a box and I walked out of the room and I placed it near the door we walk in and out of . While I was doing that, Alex had called a moving truck company to lend the police station a movie truck to help us move to the other building today. A while past and the moving truck came and they moving company helped us move everything out of the building and into the truck. Finally! the police station was empty and so we all got into our cars and we drove to the other building to help get all moved in. A long time past and we got all moved into the building, now, we have access to all the other rooms that we need to do for police and detective work. After we were all done we called it a day and we went to our homes.
