Chapter 9 ( Evening Shopping)

Once we got in line we waited until it was our turn to pay for the backpacks. It was now our turn so I payed for my backpack and Alex payed for his backpack. The employee put each of the backpacks into bags so it would be easy to carry around the mall. We then walked out of the store and we walked into another store together. A while past and we were getting hungry so we walked directly to the food court area in the mall.
I started to say... " which one should we get food from sweetie"?, I asked Alex.
" we should get Subway, which sounds good", Alex exclaimed.
" ok", I exclaimed back.
We then went to Subway and we got in line. A bit past and it was our time to order some dinner to eat and to enjoy together as a dating couple.
" Hello, what can we make for you guys tonight"?, the Subway employee asked us.
" Yeah, can I get a Spicy Italian on whit bread please", Alex stated.
" Sure thing. And for you miss"?
" oh, uh, yeah, can I get the same thing but as a salad please", I stated to the employee lady.
" you sure can miss".
The employee got Alex's sandwich ready and then she got my salad ready.
" What kind of cheese sir"?
" Oh, uh, can I get pepper Jack please", Alex stated.
" sure thing, do you want it toasted?"
" no thanks", Alex added.
" What kind of cheese for your salad miss?"
" Uh, can I get shredded please", I exclaimed.
" great!"
The Subway employee spread the cheese all over the salad.
She then started to speaking saying... " what kind of veggies do you want on your salad sir?"
" ummm... can I get black olives, pickles, mustard and Mayo, lettuce, and banana peppers please", Alex stated.
" sure thing", the employee exclaimed.
A bit past and the employee asked me... " what other toppings do you want on your salad miss?"
" oh, can I get black olives, pickles, lettuce, spinach, and ranch please", I added.
" yup", the employee said plainly.
Alex then began to say... " and can we get 2 fountain drinks please and thank you".
" yup, one sec", the employee stated.
A bit past and she wrapped Alex's sandwich up and put it on a black tray and then she shook my salad around and placed it on the black tray and then she put 2 subway logo cups onto the tray as well. She then grabbed silver wear for me for my salad and she placed it onto the tray as well. Alex then decided to pay for the both of us which is so nice of him to do so, since he is my boyfriend.
" Enjoy your food and have a great rest of your day guys", the employee shouted.
" Thanks, you too", me and Alex shouted back at the same time.
Alex then carried the tray over to a table in the subway and placed it down for a second. He then grabbed our cups and started to fill them both up with ice. Alex knows what pop I am liking right now so he knows what to get me. He then filled my cup with Sira mist and he filled his up with Dr Pepper. He put lids on them and he grabbed 2 green straws. I then grabbed the tray and he grabbed the drinks and we walked to a 2 seater tabled in the food court seating area. I placed the tray down and Alex placed the drinks down and we sat down and started eating our meal together while have a conversation. A while past and we were done eating our meal and so we cleaned up and started to look into more stores around the Shopping Mall together holding hands, like a cute couple. After walking into a few more stores I pulled out my IPhone from my hand bag and I turned it on and it was 11:30 which the Mall is about to close in 30 minutes.
So I started to say... " Hey, sweetie, it is 11:30 and the Mall is about to close so we should probably go home and get some shut eye".
" Oh, good idea Honey", Alex stated in a loving way.
We then walked towards the front doors of the Mall and we walked out and we walked to our cars together. Luckily we parked very close to each other too. Once we got to our cars we kissed each other good bye and we got into our cars and we drove to our homes for the night. Once I got to my apartment I got out of the car and went to my apartment. I unlocked the door and I got in and locked it behind me, and I placed my hand bag down on my bed and I got all ready for bed. I then was in my bed by 12:30. I then fell fast asleep and started to dream.

The next day came and it was time for me to go to work again. So I got up, got dressed for work and fixed my hair and did my makeup routine which is light makeup and then I carried my hand bag to the kitchen where my work bag is and I took everything out of both bags and I put everything inside the backpack. I then walked out of my apartment and I locked the door behind me. I then walked out to my car and I got in and I placed my new backpack on the seat right next to me and I drove to the police station. I then got out of the car and walked inside the police station with my flashy new backpack. I then walked to my desk and I placed my backpack down on my spiny office chair. I then found the case file that me and Alex are working on and I pulled it out and I placed it on top of my desk. I then went to Alex's office to see if he wanted to work together today.
" Hey Honey", I exclaimed.
" Hey Sweetie, how are you this morning?", Alex stated.
" I am doing good. I was wondering... do you want to work together today on this murder case with me, maybe at my desk?", I asked Alex.
" Sure", Alex added.
