"Hi Evelyn," Harri asked Arsenio's nanny, who was doing yoga in the mansion's gym.
"Hey, Harri," Evelyn replied after lowering herself down onto the floor after bridge pose.
"I definitely need to do some yoga," Harri said and rolled out another mat next to Evelyn's.
"I love it," Evelyn said. "I used to be an instructor. It's a passion of mine."
"Wow," Harri said, although she wasn't interested. She wanted to talk about Jack. "What made you give it up?"
"I mean," Evelyn said. "I could still teach but I'm on call here 24/7. And I don't mind at all, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne are great...the pay is great...and really I only work about ten or fifteen hours a week so-"
"Ten or fifteen hours a week," Harri said. "Can I ask how much you make?"
"Sure," Evelyn laughed. "About 120."
"Grand?" Harri raised her eyebrows. "A year? For ten hours a week?"
Evelyn nodded as Harri asked the questions.
"I work that many hours but, I mean, I have to be here most of the time," Evelyn said. "Mrs. Wayne sometimes has to go out unexpectedly at the drop of a hat."
"I noticed that," Harri said.
"And Alfred is busy sometimes," Evelyn said. "Most of the time Arsenio goes with him but if he's busy I take the baby."
"Arsenio is a special baby," Harri said.
"Oh yes," Evelyn nodded. "He can write my name. He's two!"
"Mine too," Harri said. "And his handwriting is neater than mine."
"It's freakishly amazing," Evelyn said. "I mean that in a good way. Your nephew is the best."
Harri sat down on her mat next to Evelyn's.
"Yes," Harri said. "So...have you been working more hours since Bruce has been away?"
"No, less actually," Evelyn said. "I think I only worked 7 or 8 hours last week."
"Really?" Harri asked.
"Well, Mr. Hayden's been here a lot and Arsenio's usually with him if Adriana has to go out," Evelyn replied.
"Right...Jack," Harri nodded, happy to finally have an introduction to the topic. She had to find out more about him. "He seems nice."
Evelyn nodded and smiled. "He is."
"So...are you close to him? I mean, do you two talk?" Harri asked.
"Oh," Evelyn said. "Not really...I mean he's kind of quiet. I don't know him that well actually...but he seems nice, I agree."
"So, do you know anything about him? Other than that he's friends with Bruce and Adriana?" Harri asked directly.
"No...but if I did," Evelyn replied, and Harri raised her eyebrows hopefully. "I still couldn't say."
"Why not?" Harri asked.
"I signed an NDA," Evelyn told her. "Non disclosure agreement."
"Right..." Harri said. "But I'm Adriana's sister."
"I can't say anything to anyone," Evelyn shrugged. "Nothing personal about them or their guests or friends or associates."
Harri sighed. Harri knew there was no way Evelyn couldn't tell that Jack was Arsenio's father if she saw them together regularly. Their similarities were undeniable.
"Sorry," Evelyn said.
"It's okay," Harri said. "I guess I'd rather you follow the NDA."
Evelyn nodded.
"Thanks," she said.
"So... I...assume you know where Bruce is right now?" Harri asked.
Evelyn pressed her lips together and Harri could tell she knew. Rehab.
"I'm not able to say," Evelyn said. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Fonseca."
Harri smiled.
"No biggie," Harri said. "Call me Harri. So...Jack...is that your only opinion of him? I mean it's not breaking your NDA to share your opinions."
Evelyn looked like she didn't want to say anything. Like perhaps this was some kind of test. Harri was asking a lot of questions.
"For instance," Harri said. "My opinion of him is that I think he's ridiculously hot."
Evelyn looked relaxed, finally, and began to laugh.
"Well, okay then," Evelyn said. "I guess it's not breaking any agreements to share that."
"Share what? You agree?" Harri asked.
"Well, I mean of course," Evelyn said. "He's really..."
"Sexy as hell?" Harri asked.
"Well, I'm at work right now so I have to be professional so I wouldn't really put it like that, even though..you're not wrong..." Evelyn said. "He definitely is...quite nice looking."
Harri laughed and Evelyn followed.

Harri found Alfred reading in the study. He looked up from his book and removed his reading glasses.
"Harri, is there anything I can get you?" he offered.
"No, no," Harri said politely and looked around. "I just wanted to talk to you about something."
Alfred gestured to the seat beside him and Harri sat down.
"I'll cut right to the chase," Harri said and Alfred smiled and nodded.
"If you must," Alfred said.
"Have you signed an NDA? For working for Bruce and Adriana?" Harri asked.
"No, I have not," Alfred replied.
"Why not?" Harri asked.
"I have not been asked to," Alfred replied.
Harri exhaled.
"Adriana told me that you know that Jack is Arsenio's biological father," Harri said.
Alfred did not look surprised.
"Yes, she told me that she made you aware of that fact this morning," Alfred said.
"So...can you tell me about Jack? Adriana barely told me anything about him...like why can't Arsenio know that he's his father? Why doesn't Jack remember his past? Why didn't Bruce and Adriana accept him as a part of Arsenio's life before-"
"These are all excellent questions," Alfred interrupted her. "That require very complicated and...personal answers. Answers that are not mine to give."
"But you know the truth...about Jack?" Harri asked. "Whatever it is that Adriana doesn't seem to want to tell me?"
Alfred paused and answered. "Yes."
The way he answered shook Harri. It was the most loaded 'Yes' she had ever heard. There was heaviness in his reply. It only made her more curious.
"But as I said," Alfred said. "Jack's story is not mine to share. I'm sorry, Harri. But I cannot answer your questions."
