"Bruce, oh my gosh!" Harri said to Bruce in the morning upon seeing him in the kitchen.

"Harri," Bruce said as they hugged.

"I had no idea you were coming back today!" Harri said.

Bruce smiled at her. "It's good to be back."

Harri kissed the top of Arsenio's head as he sat at his high chair.

"How are you? Did everything go well?" Harri asked, not mentioning rehab in front of Arsenio.

"It...went, and now I am home," Bruce said vaguely.

Harri picked up a glass and poured herself a glass of orange juice and looked at the Joker.

"Good morning, Jack," Harri said, still looking at Jack with pity. She saw him as a confused soul. He believed he was a madman who had killed people, which made no sense to her.

"Good morning," he said to her.

Neither the Jack or Harri knew that Arsenio had overheard them talking in the hall the previous night and that he had understood some of what they said. That Jack was his biological father. That his name used to be...'Joker'. Arsenio didn't know what biological meant, he knew that Bruce was his father...but still he wanted to understand what this all meant.  And Arsenio had no understanding of why Harri thought the name 'Joker' was so bad. All that Arsenio knew was that jokes were meant to be funny and were good. He wondered about these things but above all he was happy to see his father again. Bruce being home was the best and most important thing that could have happened.

Arsenio heard the sound of a glass break. Harri had dropped her glass of juice after seeing Adriana's face.

"Oh my...go-" Harri said and looked lightheaded. "What the hell..happened?"

"Mommy okay!" Arsenio explained.

The wound on his mother's face was terrible but she had assured Arsenio for nearly an hour the previous night and another hour earlier that morning that she was okay.

"I'm fine, Harri, just an accident," Adriana said. "The doctor already took care of this last night so it's all patched up."

"Someone sliced your face open!" Harri exclaimed. "Who!? Who did that?"

"Harri," Adriana said, taking Harri's arms gently. "I will explain later."

"No! Now!" Harri said, unable to take her eyes off the stitches. "What..."

Harri sounded like she was out of breath and would faint. She looked a bit wobbly on her feet and was becoming pale.

"Harri," Bruce said, coming behind Harri and holding her arms gently. "Come with me. I will explain."

Bruce spoke very calmly and evenly.

"Yes," Harri said. "This...need an explanation."

Harri went with him, constantly looking back at Adriana and the enormous, stitched wound on her face.

Adriana knelt and began to pick up the pieces of glass. After picking up a couple of pieces, Jack was kneeling beside her and helping her.

"Thanks," she said.

Arsenio watched them gathering the glass on the floor. Arsenio could tell that something was bothering his mom. She seemed stressed.  He noticed his mother become slightly more nervous as Jack knelt beside her. She began gathering the glass more quickly. So quickly that she cut herself.  Arsenio watched the blood spilling from her finger and watched her continuing to pick up shards of glass as though the cut didn't even happen. He then saw Jack take her wrist, gently stopping her.
