Adriana returned to Wayne Manor after midnight, knowing that she should feel more relief.  She trusted the Catwoman's words, she had no reason to lie. She did not want the people she worked for to harm a child.

But even if the news of their supposed divorce spread far and wide, if Bruce and Adriana did not find out who this league was, eventually they would be right back where they started. Adriana did not want to leave Bruce, she had only threatened him as an ultimatum. And it wasn't working. Perhaps it was because he knew that she was bluffing.

Was she? Could she really leave her husband? What if he really had kicked his habit and she was leaving him for nothing? What if he still had the habit and it got worse after she left? How would abandoning him help anything, if that was the case? But then again, how could she stay knowing that there was even a slim chance that he was willing to chose pills over her staying in their marriage?

Then she thought of their son. She did not want him to be a child of divorce. She thought of what he had told her earlier and she was certain that he had overheard Harri saying to Jack that he was Arsenio's biological father and also calling Jack a terrorist.

She felt overwhelmed. And after walking past a mirror on the way to her bedroom and seeing the stitches in her face, she had to fight very hard with herself to avoid crying. Once she was in the bedroom, she found Bruce on his laptop.

"Where's Arsenio?" she asked.

"In his room," Bruce said.

"I thought he would sleep here," Adriana said. "He's been insisting to so...insistently since you've been home."

"Well," Bruce said and stood up from the table he was sitting at. "I promised him I would be there as soon as he woke up tomorrow if he slept in his room."

"And that worked?" Adriana asked.

"Well, I also told him that if he slept in his room tonight, he could have a bed," Bruce said.

"He already has a bed," Adriana said. "I'm surprised he fell for that."

"Correction," Bruce said. "He has a crib."

"And you told him he could have a bed?" Adriana asked.

"Well, I promised him that I would discuss it with you and..more or less assured him that he could have one," Bruce said.

"Oh, Bruce," Adriana said.

"You don't approve," Bruce said.

"I mean...it's not that...it's just he's growing up too fast," Adriana said.

Bruce smiled and wrapped his arms around her. They hadn't hugged in a long time. She rested her unwounded cheek against his chest. Adriana wanted to tell him what Arsenio had told her earlier. All of the things he had overheard. She thought about how to tell Bruce, but he began to speak.

"I figured we could use a night to ourselves," Bruce said.

Adriana pulled away from him and took a step back.

"Please," he said and touched her cheek.

"You want sex," Adriana said. "I want you to go to rehab.  I guess it's up to you if we both can get what we want."

Adriana watched Bruce run a hand through his dark hair.

"I will go," he said.

"Really?" she asked.

"I will go as soon as we figure out who this league is that threatened my son and end them," Bruce said.

"No," Adriana said. "Now."
