Chapter 17

Anirudh furrowed his eyebrows as he clenched his eyes tightly.

His body was feeling extremely hot causing him to move around the bed trying to find a comfy spot.

'Bed!' His mind alarmed causing him to let out an shout as he leaped up from the bed.

He rubbed his eyes as he sat on the bed looking dubious at the other occupants.

His Adam's apple bobbed when Saritha let out a small whine as she cuddled with their pillow. Her blouse discarded a little causing her flesh to flash out to Anirudh.

Anirudh whistled lowly and shook his head before getting out of the bed. He padded out of the room and into the bathroom.

He let out a groan once he finished splashing icy cold water on his face. He shook his head and smacked his own cheeks when his mind pulled out memories of Saritha's hips.

" Bad...bad...bad! Yepidi da Ani ava kude poi padute," Anirudh mumbled to himself.

He switched on the coffeemaker and grabbed himself a cup of coffee before walking out to his balcony.

He sipped his coffee as he stared at the empty carpark. His eyes zoomed at the small fire pit outside the fence.

Tiny figurines seemed to be huddled together around the fireplace while the police jeep was nowhere to be seen.

" What the hell is happening here," Anirudh said out loudly as he sipped his drink.

" Namaku yenna...namatha kelembiruvum le," Anirudh said to himself.

He let out a manly squeal when he felt a tug. He shook his head and pat his chest while he glowered at the boy.

The boy sucked his thumb and looked at Anirudh with doe eyes as he clutched his blanket.

" Yennada!" Anirudh growled at the boy who jut his lower lips out.

" Amma hot," the boy said causing Anirudh let out a huh sound as he looked bewildered with the boy's proclamation.

The boy tugged his hands and dragged Anirudh back into the room. Anirudh furrowed his eyebrows as he watched the boy climbing up the bed and sat infront of Saritha.

Anirudh exhaled his breath and leaned down slightly, placing the back of his palm on her forehead.

His eyes widened as he felt her blazing temperature while Saritha let out a small moan as she wiggled her bum and hug the the pillow.

Right on the cue,the baby began wailing causing Anirudh to groan. He shook his head and carried the baby out while the boy cuddled with Saritha.

Anirudh placed the now clean baby down on the mat and pursed his lips. He glanced at the door and exhaled his breath as the dog trotted out.

Anirudh watched the dog who barked at him. He shook his head and opened the main door and the dog trotted away.

His eyes narrowed as he turned his neck on the opposite lane where the dog has ran away. He swore he saw a figure at that side causing his hairs on his back to stand up.

" Chi Ani yaarum ille...Don't over think and get out first," he told himself and closed the door.

Anirudh walked back into the bedroom and gently tried to wake Saritha up. He shook his head when the woman muttered something groggily and scratched her bum before nuzzling the pillow.

'She could fry an egg on her forehead,' Anirudh thought wryly as he felt her forehead temperature.

" You! Get up and get out," Anirudh said as he swat the boy's bum.
