beomgyu covers her eyes with his huge hands, "guess where are we?" chaemin could hear kids yelling and games noises, "ARCADE??" the man laughed and took her hand in his , bringing her to the claw machine. "remember i used to catch twenty of these for you?", beomgyu reminisce about their childhood while moving the handle.
after 5 tries , there was still no toy to be seen. "it's fine gyu let's just go", but he was too determined and didn't want to disappoint her. "you can go play the others first, i must catch one for you!" ____________________________________
with a little bear in his arms, beomgyu squint his eyes in the low light. he searched the rows of gaming machine, and saw the girl he was looking for. "of course she'd want to play the dance dance revolution machine with me...", beomgyu hesitated at the end of his sentence. "that jun guy?", he gritted his teeth, seeing chaemin dancing with yeonjun. there they were, rolling their bodies against one another like they did in the club. just then, chaemin turned around and met eyes with him, "oh gyu!" she gestured him to come closer as the screen displayed the new dancers that broke the high score. "Yes! you're the best partner jun!", she high-fived him. beomgyu pokes his inner cheek with his tounge, trying to suppress the jealousy in him as he types the alphabet of a certain song, "well, remember that song where no one could beat us?" "OH chae and I beat that already! So you were the bestie she talked about? i knew y'all weren't just a teacher and student", yeonjun had a goofy smile while he placed his arm on chaemin's shoulders. "yeah i'm glad you know", the teacher bitterly muttered as he removed yeonjun's arm and gently placed the teddy into chaemin's embrace. she gasped in response, "aw thankyou gyu , it's adorable!-" her sentence was cut off by her stomach's growl. "let's get you some ice cream",her friend let out a deep chuckle earning beomgyu to roll his eyes.
At the ice cream café, the air conditioner blew against their skins making them goosebumps rise on their forearm. "one apple flavoured, chae? mr choi?",yeonjun asked while ordering. "i'd like a cheesecake flavoured and chae gets cookie and cream", beomgyu spoke on her behalf." he then had a smug smile on his face after chaemin complimented him on knowing her well. "ah! i've to rush for tuition now, had a fun time with y'all!", yeonjun grabs his ice cream and dashed out of the door. beomgyu followed the action, "alright let's get you home too" she shyly glances at him, "can we go to yours instead, i wanna see toto too..."
