He sat down on his seat in the class, eyes glued to his textbook. The classroom was still only half filled, with people talking amongst themselves. I bit my lip, not knowing if I should talk to him. I turned my head down, and mirrored his action, staring intently at my textbook.

"I'll come get you after practice." He muttered, as we left the classroom after our last class of the day. Those were the first words he said to me after lunch. I nodded and walked towards the stairs to the third floor. Turning around the corner, I was stopped by a foot reaching out, waiting to trip me. I maneuvered myself over the foot to see Krista and three other girls I haven't seen before. Am I about to get jumped right now? I thought this only happened on TV... Krista is pretty small herself, but these three girls are a bit taller than me (not hard to achieve, honestly). They still looked pretty lanky though.

"What's up?" I asked, raising my brow.

"How'd you manage to seduce Akaashi-senpai?" Krista barked out, her face looking the ugliest I've ever seen it. 

I stifled a laugh, "What do you mean, we're just friends?" I wasn't lying when I said that, but I still felt a slight pang in my chest when I said the last three words.

"Heh, are you kidding me? Who'd believe that when you're all touchy with each other?" One of the other girls said with the voice that screamed 'annoying bitch'.

"I don't need you to believe me." I rolled my eyes and felt a sudden kick to my shin and two hands pushing me forwards. I caught myself with my hands but I felt my knees scrape against the floor. Hell no, I ain't going down without a fight, even if I'm not a black belt or anything crazy like that. 

"What the fuck." I muttered, getting back up on my feet and clenching my fist. In a split second I gave the girl behind me a punch in the stomach. She hugged her stomach in pain as I kicked the other girl on the back of her legs. Krista and the third girl watched a few feet away, stunned that I was putting up a fight.

"Crazy bitch-" Krista muttered as she raised a palm a few inches from me. I slapped her flimsy hands away from me and she surprisingly fell to the ground. I rolled my eyes at her and dusted my skirt.  Is this girl as weak as an ant or? Why's she trying to pick a fight then? 

"You'll regret this- my dad is the Vice-principal of this school!" She yelled out as the third girl grabbed my hair.

Before I could turn around to make my next move, I heard the honey-like voice of a certain red-head. "What the fuck are you guys doing?" Matsui growled out. My eyes widened in surprise, I've never heard him sound this angry before. He was always the calm and quiet one out of the three in Light Music Club. He slapped her hand off my hair and grabbed my wrist, leading me up the stairs.

Once we got up the stairs, he turned me to face him as he tried to see where I was hurt with his eyebrows furrowed. He let out a sigh as he saw my bloody knees. "Let's get you to the nurse's office." He said with a soft voice, a complete contrast from his last sentence. "Can you walk?"

"Yeah I can." I whispered and limped my way through.
