{A/N: Hey everyone! I hope you're doing good! So, I got this idea for a scenario that could happen between the guidance counsellor at my school, my fav teacher and myself and after I wrote it I was like 'Why not making it a one shot!' So yeah, at first I didn't think I'd write a one shot on Cordelia or any of Sarah's characters from AHS for the simple reason that I had never watched that series until recently. But now that I've seen season 2 and 3, I thought that Cordelia would fit perfectly in this one shot. And of course, I changed some parts of my original scenario to make it match with the Coven season of AHS. Anyway, I hope you'll like it, good reading!}

TW: Mention of death

POV: You're a student at Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies and you're missing a class of your  favourite teacher, Ms. Cordelia Goode, to have a meeting with the guidance counsellor of the school, Ms. Sylvia Clarke, who is a really good friend of Cordelia's.

"So, Y/n, what are your requirements for your future job?"

"My requirements??"

Y/n looked at Ms. Clarke with interrogation points in the eyes. She doesn't even know what she likes, how could she know what she wants for her job? The young girl must've opened her eyes wider than she thought because the guidance counsellor laughed slightly at her reaction. She lowered her head to look at her fingers playing nervously with her rings, thinking about what answer she could give. Her job's requirements...

"Well, I'd prefer not to work at night, I've seen what it did to my dad and it really doesn't look pleasant." Y/n finally said after a few seconds of reflection.

"During the day then." Ms. Clarke wrote down something on her notepad before she lifted her head to look at the girl in front of her. "Okay, what else?"

"Uhmmm...." Y/n frowned and bit her bottom lip what earned her another chuckle from the counsellor. The nervous student put her attention back on Ms. Clarke when an idea popped up in her mind. "Uh, well, mayb-"

Y/n got cut off by someone knocking at the door. Her eyes switched from Ms. Clarke to the door to finally return on Ms Clarke who got up and told the girl to keep her idea in mind. She walked to the door and when she opened it, Y/n heard a voice she could recognize anywhere.

"I am terribly sorry Sylvia to interrupt your meeting, but I absolutely need to talk with Y/n." Ms. Cordelia? What is she doing here? Isn't she supposed to be teaching right now? And what does she want to talk to me about? thought Y/n to herself.

The girl had to miss a class with her teacher and she was a little pissed about that, but at least she had a good reason. She liked Ms. Clarke too so it was a blessing in disguise. The guidance counsellor let Y/n's teacher come in and Cordelia closed the door once she was inside the room. She walked nervously towards Y/n before she brought a chair near her student and sat on it. She looked over her shoulder to take a glance at Ms. Clarke who was still standing next to the door.

"Would you like me to go out and to leave you two alone?" Ms. Clarke asked Cordelia, showing the door with her index.

"Preferably..." Cordelia turned her head to lock gaze with Y/n, giving the girl a look that meant 'Do you want her to leave us alone?' "Y/n?"

"Well.. no, it won't bother me if you stay in the room Ms. Clarke." Y/n answered, a faint smile on her soft face.

"Are you sure Y/n? I don't mind to leave you my office for a couple of minutes."

"Yeah, I'm sure, I really don't mind." Ms. Clarke sat in front of Y/n at the oval table. "But Ms. Cordelia, aren't you supposed to be teaching right now?"
