A few years later...
"Ready, dear?" Jungkook said quietly in her ear, hands covering her eyes from the beautiful picnic he had set up in front of Bukhan River. Taejin nodded, feeling giddy all over.
"Surprise," Jungkook lowered his hands and Taejin opened her eyes, taking in the gorgeous site.
"It's beautiful, Jungkook," the girl beamed as she turned around to look at him, leaning in for a short peck.
"Happy three years, baby," Jungkook brushed a few strands of her now shoulder length hair out of her face. "Let's eat."
The two sat on the soft picnic blanket, chatting and eating the take out Jungkook had bought. As the sun began to set and they had finished their food, Taejin sat herself between the male's legs, back resting against his chest. Jungkook caught Taejin staring in the distance. He looked to see a couple with two toddlers, the children laughing playfully while throwing rocks into the water.
"Do you want to have kids, Kookie?" She asked softly.
Jungkook nodded as he snaked his arms around her waist. "I'd love to be a dad, but under one condition."
"And what is that?"
"That I'm the father of our children."
Taejin exhaled sadly, a frown fighting it's way onto her lips. "I don't know about that, Jungkook.."
He looked down, confused. "What do you mean?"
"What if I'm not one hundred percent? I mean, I know I'm not dying anymore but what if there's a small hint of my tumor left and I pass it onto our child? It'll be all my fault if something were to happen to them because I'm the one that-"
"Shhh," Jungkook said softly and pressed a kiss to her temple. "It won't be your fault, darling. And we can always take precautions and see experts. It won't hurt to try, dear.."
"I guess you're right," she smiled. "I really want to have kids with you, Jungkook."
"I can't wait to spoil our children, Taejinnie."
The girl laughed, shaking her head. "You can't spoil them too much, baby. They need to be humble like their parents."
Jungkook laughed as well, nodding in agreement. He then bit his lip, feeling a bit nervous as to what he was about to do. "Taejin-ssi."
"Hm?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes," she said instantly, grabbing one of his hands to leave a kiss on his knuckles.
"Do you trust me enough to be with you forever and ever, even past death? Do you trust me enough to never leave my side? Do you trust me enough even if we have arguments? Do you trust me enough to never doubt me- to never doubt us?"
"I trust you with my life, and everything that has to do with it, baby."
Jungkook then removed an arm from around Taejin to grab something from his pocket. The girl watched his moves intently, sucking in a tight breath when she sees his hand grasping a small navy blue box. She felt her eyes gloss over before whispering, "Jungkook..."
He opened the box and revealed a silver diamond ring, feeling his own eyes water as well. "Do you trust me enough...to marry me?"
Taejin let out a small sob, a hand going up to her mouth and another being placed on top of Jungkook's hand that was holding the box.
"Taejin, I love you so much. We've been through scary times, and met in unusual circumstances, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Each struggle we've been through has shown me that we are meant for each other," Jungkook rested his chin on her shoulder, a tear falling onto her shirt. "I believe that we are meant for each other, with all my heart. Do you believe it, too?"
Taejin could only nod vigorously, turning to hug him and bury her face in his neck. "I d-do, with everything in me.. I'll marry you, J-Jungkook." Jungkook smiled through his tears, a hand over her head in attempt to comfort her.
After a few minutes of basking in the moment, Taejin let go of the embrace and Jungkook took her hand to slide the ring onto her finger. She wiped at her face with her free hand, grinning softly before moving to kiss her boyfri- fiancé with the sunset in the background.

"After you, Mrs. Jeon Taejin," Jungkook giggled cutely as he opened the door to their new home.
The female laughed as she entered, holding her long white gown and bouquet of flowers in her hands. Jungkook grabbed the end of her veil before stepping in and closing the door, making sure to have locked it as well.
She set her flowers down on the living room coffee table, exhaling. "What do people do after they get married?"
"I dunno.. want some ramen?" Jungkook said with a chuckle as he took off his tie and blazer.
"And a movie?"
"How about ramen and a movie marathon and have an all nighter?"
"Deal!" Taejin said cheerfully, kicking her heels off and running towards their bedroom to change before stopping abruptly. "Kookie?"
"Yes, wifey?"
"I need help taking all this off."
"Hubby is coming to the rescue!" Jungkook cheered as he entered their bedroom where his now wife was sitting in front of the mirror trying to take off her veil. "Here, let me take the veil off while you take off your makeup, then we'll move to the dress."
Taejin nodded, grabbing her makeup wipes while Jungkook worked on her hair.

The newly weds were cuddled together in sweats and hoodies on the couch, watching Zootopia. Two instant ramen bowls were sitting on the table empty alongside two cans of Sprite. They were both on the verge of falling asleep, before a soft voice spoke.
"Hubby?"
"Yes, baby?"
"Do you want to...try?"
"Try what, dear?"
Taejin only bit her lip before rubbing her stomach. Jungkook looked confused before finally realizing what his wife meant.
Try for a baby.
"Are you sure you're ready?" He said slowly, and the female nodded. He then broke out into a goofy grin and stood up from his spot on the couch, picking Taejin up bridal style and rushing to their bedroom.
