-Athena-
-Three Days Later-
Too soon. That's what kept popping up in my head. It's too soon.
I was at a lost for words as I stood in my bathroom, clutching the corners my sink counter for dear life, my hands beginning to hurt. I looked down into the sink, staring at the three white plastic sticks with the pink f***ing double lines on it and I felt like crying. I don't know whether it was happy tears, or not, but I wanted to cry.
Having children was something I've always wanted, but before I graduated college. I wanted to wait till I had a steady job and a bigger home before I thought about having kids. Everything had changed now.
I was pregnant.
I wiped away the tear rolling down my cheek and looked into the mirror, mentally thanking the creator of waterproof makeup. I cleared my throat before disposing of the plastic sticks in a place Louis wouldn't find them. I couldn't tell him. Not yet.
As soon as I hid them and walked out of the bathroom towards my room, Louis was sitting on the bed, black dress pants and dress shoes on, his white button up opened wide. He looked up from the floor and smiled, eyeing me up and down slowly.
He won't be doing that once he finds out I'm pregnant.
"You look beautiful, babe." He said, standing up from the bed and walking towards me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pushed my hair off my right shoulder, before kissing my neck. I moved my head to the side, giving him more access, before he attached his lips to a part he knew I could hide easily. I moaned, before turning around in his arms and placing my hands on his neck, forcing his lips on mine feverishly. He pushed my back against the wall, his hands traveling all over my body. I took his bottom lip between my teeth, gently tugging on it. As soon as he began to kiss my neck again, I had to stop him, due to the fact that I still needed to put my dress on.
"I have to get clothes on, Louis." I said breathlessly. "We need to leave soon."
"Why can't you just wear what you're wearing now?" This boy, I swear.
"Because I'm in my bra and underwear. Plus, I'm pretty sure you don't want your wife parading around a black tie event with her black lacy undergarments on."
"Nope, this view right here," He began, pulling away from me to motion my body head to toe. "Is mine."
"Technically it's mine, but whatever floats your boat, babe." I replied, patting his tattooed chest and kissing his cheek, before walking towards the closet and pulling out the dress I had to buy for the event.
It was a black floor length Anthea dress with a cut out slit, my right leg visible. Before I had Louis zip me up, I slipped on a garter and let it rest on my thigh. I then pulled out a pistol and put the safety on, slipping it through the garter on the side of my leg. I walked into the bathroom, my heart picking up speed. I really don't want him finding the pregnancy tests.
He was in the process of brushing his teeth when caught a glimpse of me. He dropped his toothbrush in shock, slowly turning on his heel to look at me, his eyes raking my body with lust. "You are f***ing beautiful, wow." He licked his lips, before walking to me and slowly zipping me up. "Only downside to you looking like this is that everyone is going to stare at you. Guys especially."
"Think of it this way," I began, as I turned faced him, proceeding to button up his shirt and tie his tie. Once I was done, I pulled him down by the tie to my level and smiled. "You're the one that gets to take it off later."
He hummed in response, kissing my lips quickly, before I left the bathroom and walked to the living room, slipping on a pair of black heels. I looked myself in the mirror and I felt pretty good. "Liam and the others are here." Louis announced, walking up behind me, his face appearing the mirror. I smiled at him, as he adjusted his suit jacket and tie. I nodded, as he opened the front door and we exited the apartment.
