"run rabbit, run rabbit"

seraphina began to sing the song her father would play when they trained as she started drawing. The charcoal on the floor smearing around.

she knew the guards found it creepy. so when they showed up to inspect her cell maybe they would be more wary and less tedious with their search.

she had been known to make and hide weapons in her room, which marcus cane took it upon himself to find. she knew one day she'd need them. her father wasn't stable but he wasn't entirely crazy either.

no matter what those children said. what the guards said. one day they'd come running to her because she knew what to do.

the guards made their way in. marcus kane standing at the front. she looked up and grinned making him grimace as he gave the order to restrain her and search the room.

they missed the first knife

damn. got the second one

the third one is safe. at least she had those already hidden.

marcus waved his hand as the men dropped her back in her cell and walked out. " i only mean to help you ms. westwood" he sighed. the girl exhausted him to no end. the comment only made her grin widen. he shook his head walking away from her, "at least there weren't as many knives this time" she held in her laughter as he spoke again, "seraphina," he paused

he wasn't supposed to do this.

"pack what you can and be ready" she looked up with cold eyes. this was it. the way marcus looked. he had looked at her like she was insane for so many years. now he was warning her to pack. giving him a firm nod, she turned around and waited for the doors to close.

"mother fucker" she smiled. she was going to earth. as soon as marcus had heard of the project he came to her. because she knew.

seraphina had been causing trouble in the skybox and even the ark itself for so long. growing up in mecha had helped her hack into systems for her father as well as weld and create things using what she could. she knew the ark was dying before even the infamous Jack Griffin.

she got to work taking various things she had stolen from around the ark out of their hiding spots. charcoal. safety pins, small daggers, an ancient swiss army knife, a nail file, a notebook, and a needle and thread. lastly, her homemade daggers made of metal from her cell. those had taken a lot of time to make.

now to pack she used the needle and thread to sew large pockets onto the inside of her jacket and an extra set of cargo pockets for her pants. the footsteps of the guards were echoing down the hallways as she heard the cells near hers being opened.

she put the needle and thread into the outer pocket of her jacket as well as the nail file and the safety pins. she zipped them and then slipped her larger daggers into the inside pockets of her jacket along with the notebook and the charcoal.

moving on to three smaller ones. she put one in each of her new cargo pockets with the swiss army knife and the third one in her boot. just in time for the guards to open her cell door. she began humming the song again.

run rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run

she didn't struggle as they dragged her along the hallways. this was her fate. to survive earth if they survived the trip. she had trained for this her entire life. her father died for this.

don't give the farmer his fun, fun, fun

before she knew it she was being strapped into a seat as others looked at her. she was a legend among these delinquents. over the years she had broken into cells to talk with people and even snuck some kids into the unity day parade a couple of years back without being caught. seraphina was hope. hope that maybe one day they'd see the outside of a cell. they would. but hope isn't what they needed.

he'll get by, without his rabbit pie

seraphina westwood was ready to see earth. the dropship began to launch.she would survive this even if others needed to get hurt in the process.

the girl grinned widely

earth wasn't ready for her.

so run rabbit, run rabbit

run
run
run
